I have several problems with my existance. I have the ability to break electrical equipment by touch alone. I am frustrated by this unwanted ability to break computers, digital equipment just by touch alone... this is getting more annoying as the years progress. My second ability that is haunting me to this day, is the ability to predict what people are about to say before they say it, I have the ability ot finish scentences mentally and sometimes vocally before they finish it themselves. I absorb peoples vocabulary, I absorb accents ofpeople who I have never met before, I can talk to someone for a few minutes and learn almost everything there is to learn about prounaouncing their speach and accent. I've also found a way to astral project, since a recent acident in 2002 which I was the victim, I have found new abilities in astral projection and interdimentional (which is what astral projection is, viewing another simular yet totally identical plaine of existance) realm which I cannot navigate or control. I am growing more and more frustrated with the gain of abilites which are out of my physical and mental control. Why is this happening to me? Why am I given the opportunity to expand my mind and physical strenghth yet I have no guidance in these affairs. If you can understand my experience, you can understand how maddening it is to have no guidance to control or perhaps understand of what is happening. I am loosing the will to live, or perhaps control or understand what is happening. I am in desperate need of guidance, I leave the floor to you my saviours in this hour of need. As I'm in a state of desperation and need. Somebody please help me. If you where to devlop unexplained abilities and you did not know how to control or understand them (as they are not a normal human ability), would you ask people for help? I am doing this now, otherwise my existance is getting mroe difficult and more harder to bear than I ever thought before. I leave myself open to suggestions, theorys or maybe devine intervention. You are not the only one to "suffer" all these things (if suffer is really the word), there are thousands of people out there who can do all that you describe and more. Astral projection is very common as is causing interference with electrical equipment, as in common I mean it happens to many more people than you think.

Why does anything happen to any of us, maybe we ask for it subconsciously, maybe it is something we need for future work.

There are plenty of books you can read up about all of the things you describe and more, you can find them in libraries and on Amazon.

How do you think abilities start? You don't get a letter in the post to warn you, it just starts happening, first time it can be frightening but you learn and eventually you realize that rather than unnatural it is, for you, natural. Personally, I have never asked people for help, mainly because my experiences are not their experiences, you can only ask if anything similar has happened to them and if it has, how did they manage, then you can start to piece the bits together.

Knowing things will happen before they do can be handy or it can feel like a curse, especially if whatever you see appears that it is going to happen to you and in the end, does - all the more so if the premonition isn't what you would want to happen, but as they say "forewarned if forearmed" - treat it thus.

You can of course, as is our free will, always ask for it all to be taken away, it will eventually fade away and you can live a "normal life" - bear this in mind however, everyone has weird things happen to them, some just have it more than others, you can either view it as a gift or a curse - controlling it may never happen, but experiencing it is another matter!

Odd your being effected by bio-electrical troubles. Apparently most of us are women between puberty and change of life, and get more of a charge while pregnant. And sometimes allergic to metals in general. Which might suggest some possible causes, I'm not sure. But I don't think I'd call it an "ability", and there's insufficient information for how to control the situation.

I'm sorry I can't be of help with your trouble with knowing what people are going to say next. It's so often that I can't imagine what people are thinking at all

Techniques are quite available for how to navigate through astral/lucid experiences. It all comes down to developing mental self-control and discipline. Meditation is very helpful.

Why ask why? You are what you are, everyone in this world is unique and some will be swept away by unusual destinies. You've described nothing that seems terribly live-ruining; no reason to lose your will to live, eh?

I would say,...
Use the gifts that God has given you without fear. Use them for only good or positive purposes.
Turn the things you've labeled as "problems" into blessings.
And remember the saying, "To those whom much is given, much is expected."

If you can use these "powers" at will, then they can be controlled. Test these powers under different conditions to see if any one thing triggers them, such as being tired, stressed out, or whatever. Once you find the trigger you'll know how to use them and even develop them further.

Some times the electrical problems are caused by too much heavy metals in the blood, impeticular nickel. Get some blood work done at a doctor's office or hospital, then the Dr. may have some suggestions to help you lower the nickel count in your blood. (Assuming that's the problem)

My husband has similar telepathic abillities. (very good in certain situations) I also know of several others who cannot clear their head for one moment because the thoughts of others are too numerous and loud. They simply move far out into the counrty to get some space. Try signing up of some spiritual classes in your area. Maybe an instrctor could help you learn to block out thoughts of others. Buy some good meditation cds and give them a try.

Also try focusing your mental energy into something like art. Try painting or sculpting.

Good luck. And do try to hang on for a while. I know there are plenty of people who would love to pick your brain. Maybe you could consider teaching classes of your own on the subjet one of these day, after, of course, you figure some thing out.

As others have pointed out, the interference with electrical equipment may be due to some chemical imbalance. I'm not sure it is hazardous to you but it may be inconvenient so a trip to your GP is probably a good thing.

Many people can 'read' others. Clues from previous conversation, body movements, facial expressions etc all add up to a silent language that can be used to 'predict' what someone is thinking or about to say. It is a useful talent that some people have to a greater degree.

'Absorbing' someone's accent/speech habits could be taken for parroting and some will be offended by this. It might be wise to curtail this behaviour or risk getting involved in some unpleasant confrontations.

Astral Projection is about the only thing that could be considered paranormal and is a fascinating thing. Try to develop this by learning all you can about the phenomenon.

Realise, also, we are all remarkable. Many who announce they have wonderful 'abilities' sound as if they are trying to elevate themselves above all others. This irritates other people, perhaps be a little more circumspect in your pronouncements.

If you are telling the truth then i can honestly say you are whining too much, astral projection is very common so that is nothing, breaking things by touching them, im not sure if i believe that but i have heard of a few people saying they could do that so again, nothing really remarkable, but if you could learn to control that, then it would probablly help you out, and if you can astral project like you said you could just talk to some entities on the astral plane for advice. That is truly bragging. If your good at something, don't stop there, try to be better at what your doing. I realized I had a real ability called the Jinx ability. Sounds bad but it has helped me in a lot of situtations. Unlike qpbrown81, I learned to control my ability to some extent and don't complain either. At first I thought it was bad, I looked back and realized how many times I avoided bad situations. yeah there are things I don't like, like me not having a girlfriend, or any good friends to hang out with. as a single person, I am excellent. Those are not my words. But being excellent doesn't mean I should stop, it means I'm ready for the next challenge. I went to an OPE class in wilson tech. I aced that class, but so what, that was easy. I took it a step further and went to Aircraft Powerplant, yea that's a college level course and I'm doing great. But I ain't stopping there either. I won't ever want to stop learning. Never put yourself on the pedastal. Because once your there, the only place you can go is down.

Hi everyone... just like to clarify a few things, the tile "I'm one remarkable being", was meant to be sarcastic, if anything what I'm going through could be considered to be remarkable, but to me it's just down right annoying.. I'm not bragging, and I didn't ask for these things to happen, so those who are going to tell me off for winging about my own abnormalities, please stop. Thanks. I can use my computer, because my hands are on the keyboard, not in direct contact with anything electrical... keyboard (plastic = non conductive). It's only when I place my hands inside the computer cover or on the cover that it causes problems. I can install a new graphics card or a piece of ram, and not even touch anything else and guess what... the hard disk will develop a read error, or the cd rom drive will devlop a fault, once I completely messed up a friends computer when I was checking to see all his internal bits where in the right place. And I've personally had to reformat mine and my partners disk drive and re-install the operating system 8 times in the last year... now that's annoying! I tried to consider if it was just my computer, but it was both mine and my partners, and my friends... that can't be just coincidence. I've broken a couple of freeview (digital tv) boxes just by plugging in the scart lead. Also, let me tell you... Astral projection is scary, I know when it's about to happen and the whole thing about leaving the body is a little bit frightening. Remember, the last time I left my body was when I got hit in the road by a motorcycle. Can you possibly imagine that an experience close to what I had when I was close to death would be welcomed as a gift? Perhaps it could be good to get around on the astral plane, but I have to get over my initial fear of leaving my body again. I experience all the sensations up to the point where I can leave my body, but I tend to reverse it by mentally blocking it out, focussing on staying where I am and not letting go... one day I think I'll try letting go and see what happens. As for mimicing accents... don't really have much control over that, it just comes natural in day to day situations. The de ja vous/preminisions, that comes on and off when it feels like it, I can have it as frequent as 2-3 times a day for a whole week... sometimes it can be just once a week... I thought by putting my comments on a forum would spark a little bit of assistance, perhaps some guidance... which has happened. And I thank all those that gave some possitive comments and help... You need to wear rubber gloves when you work on computers or digital tv's. Your problem is that you are not grounded. Some have your skills without the problems because they are more balanced than you are. I would suggest a shift in perception. Change your energy from resentment about these things to gratitude. It starts with a desire to do this shift. Have compassion for your current feelings, they are very understandable.

All change takes place from where we find ourself. Ask yourself what you would like to do with the skills and energy you have. What are your dreams? What could you do with these things? This can shift your intent and your energy focus. Then lots of folks here can help you with better insights about being and staying balanced.

I'm not sure if you mean my dreams as in my greatest desires, or dreams as in nightime sleep? Come to think about it, my dreams have been a little unbalanced throughout my life. When I was younger, my dreams used to be distructive... I used to either die myself in my dream or see the world being destroyed... Once the sun got too close to the planet and everything got burned up, then there was a time where there where hundreds of asteroids hurtling towards the planets surface... another time I saw tornadoes, hundreds of them sweeping across the earth and destroying everything in their path. Another time, I saw the waters of the sea raise up into a big wall and rush over the planet, I managed to get into a tall building but drowned the first time, second time I survived, I was on top of a sky scraper with a bunch of other people. I've had dreams of falling into a black void and never reaching the bottom. These dreams haunted me when I was a kid though, I was so frightened in my dreams, running for my life. It caused me to have insomnia and I slept very little then. Doctors would not prescribe me anything to help with the insomnia cause I was too young. My dreams have changed somewhat as an adult, I have lucid dreams quite a lot... where I am aware I'm dreaming to an extent and they're quite good. I can fly most of the time, and another thing I have the ability to alter the world around me or move objects by my thoughts channeled through my hand. Other times I can fire off a couple of impressive sparks of electricity, by focusing the energy between my hands and letting it build up, then focusing where it needs to go and it fires off across the room like a tiny lightning bolt. But they are only dreams, when I wake up I can't do it anymore... wish I could it would be great. The distructive dreams have stopped, but once in a while they come back... Makes me feel lucky to be alive, this world is a lot better than the one I dream about in my sleep (the destructive dreams I mean). I think your right about not being grounded. I sometimes wonder if I'm loosing control, I need to try and focus and be at peace with myself.

Well from what I hear your looking for someone who has experience and that can also help you develop as they have. And also a little bit on the bragging side. But thats if people believe you. I would like to hear more in depth description of you "abilities" before I go into this any deaper. And mabe some proof of the technology being destroyed.

I was thinking dreams as in your greatest desires. From the actual dreams you describe it seems to me you have a desire to use your skills productively. The earlier destructive dreams were good to vent frustration. I tend to see a good value for many things like this.

Yes being at peace with yourself is a great start towards being grounded. For you I would say grounded and balanced are about the same thing. I will share a balancing visualization that may help you. Picture a pyramid around you with beams of light connecting the points. The one directly above your head connects with the 4 points at the base. Now visualize a second pyramid below you that shares the same 4 points as the first. If you were horizontal you would be at the base of each pyramid with a beam of light connected from the top point to the bottom point. In all there are 6 points and 8 sides. You are balanced within this geometric shape. It is good to use this vision when you are unclear about something. Try it and see if you can then get clarity.

You can alter the world around you. All of us can if we become mindful of our thoughts.

Blowing up computers? Hmmm, not sure if I said that... I just said that computers develop faults minor/major, but they are still faults non the less... There is no terrific explosions to be seen or heard, If I need to fix a computer, I would disconnect the plug from the socket, I would then pull off the cover, touch the cover to distarge any static that maybe on my hands and then proceed to install, unplug, plug in devices that need upgrading/fixing/checking...

Right this is what happened before, I plugged in some ram to upgrade my computer following the safety instructions that where given to me by the manufacturers leaflette. Fine... plugged the ram in, didn't touch anything else... Switched on my computer, AGP Graphics card stopped working cause the monitor didn't come on when I turned the computer on. So I plugged the monitor lead into my secondary intergrated graphics card, that worked fine, booted up the system... disk error detected on C:\, tried to fix with safemode, didn't work... Then tried to recover the system through recovery partition, that was corrupted... So had to put in windows disk and re-install windows. AGP never worked again, just got a replacement yesterday off e-bay and asked my partner to put it in for me... not going to risk another upset with my computer. My problem is that this has happened to mine and my partners computer, and my friends computer... and a majority of other electrical equipment that I've handled during my lifetime... Ask my teachers at school, if they're still teachers, I used to have computers at school break down on me... and at work, I've had to ring tech support 5 times cause when I switched my system on, nothing happened, completely dead... no idea why or how... computer gets wheeled away by tech support and they order me new one in 2-3 working days, had to use a collegues computer whilst mine was fixed/replaced. As for my mates computer, his system worked fine... I went to do a defrag and do a windows update, took me about 30 minutes... went back to my flat and sat in front of my computer to play some game... my friend came round and said his computer had stopped working... so I went and tried to boot up, disk error on drive c:\, recovery partition corrupted. tried to install windows off cd... guess what, installation went fine, restarted it to load new operating system and it wouldn't load, took the hard disk out and plugged it into mine, system booted up fine! So his motherboard had shorted out or something was not working right, checked bios, bios was okay. Can't explain what happened but his system just won't work again. I'm gunna have to buy or help him put together a new system, but this time I'm not going to do it myself, I'll tell him how to do it from across the room without touching it.

And by the way, if your comments are directed at my last comment about my dreams, I can only throw sparks across the room in my dreams, please read more thouroughly before posting comments at me, thanks.

Evidence, hmmm... what can I do to possible convince people? Deliberately cause hundreds of pounds worth of damage to my computer just to satisfy peoples curiosity and prove that I am right in what I'm saying... tell you what, you send me your computer, and I'll touch the case... then I'll send it back to you... hope you've got a good courier... lol. How the hell am I supposed to prove it? I can try and find something small and insignificant that I can break that won't eat into my bank balance to replace... how's that? I've been an IT freak since I was younger, despite what you think my knowledge is sound, I know if a component dosent work, get an IT service centre to look at it, or replace it. Simple. I have a good sound knowledge of what goes into a computer, and how to put one together... and how everything else works including the operating system itself. There is noting wrong with my technique at actually fixing computers, it's just annoying that they develop faults when I touch em, that's all. I've told my partner what to do exactly how I would have done it, and the computer works fine... must be me..

Actually, I've just had an idea... if there is somebody who is good at anlyising hardware to find exactly what's wrong with it, let me know... I'll post my old graphics card to you and you can take a look at it. This might shed some light on why electrical equipment develops faults around me... I don't know it's worth a try? graham.

Why don't you take Arqueta's suggestion and get some bloodwork done just to see if there isn't some imbalance (chemical) in you that causes the electrical interference?

Or do you want the solution to indicate you are psychic or have paranormal powers?

I'm not trying to be antagonistic here, but your responses all seem to focus on the wish for some amazing ability you might have and don't seem to acknowledge the answers may be much more mundane.

When i got my new upgraded pc with a 7600 gt graphics i had to take it back seven times cause of fualts on the board . At one stage the fan in the heat sink came loose a couple of weeks ago my pc just went on a complete meltdown which was caused by my harddrive packing up . I build pc's not everyday but most of the time for our compony and alot of the times the ram would be faulty if you put it into your pc it would bring up blue screens not going into safe mode and such soo that might be the problem there . Any bit of static can damage a pc part and its not impossible to get something from the suppliers that are faulty or damage .

I would just like to ask how many keyboards do ya go through ? cause if you really do have this problem i was thinking through this post you should have used alot

well computers ..Idk about but I know a woman whos mother can hold a cell phone and it doesn't work any more ..and my causin is sometimes able to break glass just by touch....so ..ya know...

I would prefer it was a biologica inbalance, then I would be able to carry out my life without electrical equipement being disabled. I was on my computer today, and I have two ram cards installed, one is 256mb ddr ram, that remained intact, but the 512mb card failed (as in checked out on the power on self test, but failed 10 mintues into widows logon.;, causing substantial slowing down and delays in the operating system. Rebooted, worked fine, 10 min later, failed again. I've put it in my partners computer, worked fine for the duration of 4 hours. You tell me if this is a chemical imablance? It is really starting to do my head in! I've got a funny fealing as one of the people on her suggested that I am a Psi vampire, I feed of enrgy sources regardless if they are organic or technology based... the problem is that I hate having to spend a total of 200 hours a year fixing faults that develop as a result!m regards, graham.

I've had the experience of computer memory failing while a computer is running, and staying failed later on too. Windows doesn't simply slow down and behave like there's less memory, it crashes almost instantly, without even a blue error screen. I think that's because windows spreads itself across all the available memory, and if part disappears there's not enough operating system left to run slower.

Even if you do happen to be a psi, you need to check every medical and psychological possibility FIRST. In the meantime work on control, grounding, keeping you cool when handling electronics and don't handle them if you are tired until you have a medical answer or better control.
Before finalizing you are a psi, read up on them, it isn't all good, not all bad either. And pleas eliminate every other possibility, primarily for your own peace of mind but, also because anyone can learn to psi feed but, most do not NEED to do it.

How are you using a computer, if digital objects break just by touching it alone..? Also, I'd say that it's the computer... not your 'psychic' abilities.

I don't know how knowledgeable you are on computer systems but have you run any diagnostic programs to pinpoint if the trouble is electronic and not you? The issue you describe could be many things but I would first check on the compatibility of both ram sticks (I know you don't have to use matched pairs anymore but it's generally a good idea to not mix your ram) and secondly check your power supply. The fact the ram worked ok in the other computer may indicate a motherboard issue so check that as well.

It can be a combination of either direct and non direct contact, either I have extremely bad luck throughout my life with digital equipment, and digital technology just wants to break down whenever I use it, or it is a physical biological problem or it's an ability I have no control over. Hmmm, I'd go with physical problem or uncontrolled ability. Statistically it is impossible for so many pieces of electrical equipment to break down where no previous fault or problem existed and in some cases can be brand new and free of faults.

They are both 400Mhz pc3200 184 pin ddr ram sticks, regardless of the manufacturer, both cards that are identical in specifications (except memory size)and shouldn't fail and haven't failed in the comupter my partner was using, i've carried out diagnostics on the ram to test for faults through microsoft memory diagnostic, and both sticks check out through advanced testing. System checks on my computer (cause I thought my computer was knackered) advised that all systems are running fine, even S.M.A.R.T. checks on my hard disk say disk is okay, no impending failure...

I'm not sure if this is relevant, at christmas 1998 I was bought a computer by my parents. I remember that when I opened my first present I saw a mouse and a keyboard, and I looked at my mum and dad and said "what am I going to do with that witout a pc?"... they wheeled in the rest of the pc setup. I remember how excited I was to get it put together and up and running... I was on fire with excitement it was really exilerating cause I'd wanted my own PC for years and never ever got one. So, put it together, switched it on... windows loaded, entered my registration details.. by this point I was anxious (I know really sad wasn't I... lol) cause I wanted to get going as soon as I could and start playing on it. Windows showed a blue screen saying a critical error had occured. I reset, disk corrupted, rang technical support, followed the instructions and re-installed the operating system over the phone with tech support. It re-installed the files for about 30 minutes, then reboot. Wouldn't read the disk, disk error, corrupted. I think this sort of stuff is triggered by emotion as somebody has already said on here and I was advised "Don't use your PC when your tired", I play on my computer for hours and hours, and I really haven't noticed if I'm tired or not cause I'm used to having long sessions on the computer. I will keep this in mind.
