Evryone has known who bloody mary sice they were a kid,the stories of her killing people who summoned her kids who tried it and saw her but most people have never tried it.I myself tried it but as soon as i was done chanting her name i ran out of the bathroom.Please if you have ever seen her,belive in her,or know someone who has seen her for sure tell me you stories

LOL....I remember when we were young, my brother's and I would wait for our parents to go to bed, and we'd go into the bathroom with all the lights off, and stand in front of the mirror, and say "Bloody Mary, I have your baby" many times. We never actually saw anything, but we still managed to scare the dickens out of each other LOL. We also tried the "Candyman" thing when that movie came out. And again, nothing happened.

l don't believe in it , when l was younger l tried it with my sister and nothing happened .

Yeah, i've tried it. it worked. she tore my face off and somehow the story still gets around, even though the victim is dead.

I think there might be some truth to the legend. One night, I kept repeating the name Bloody Mary over and over every time the bartender walked over. After a while my head started swimming and I felt like I might get sick. That's one night I won't forget in a long time.

I always chickened out when I tried to summon her. None of my friends saw her either though, so I doubt it's real. Also there are a bajillion different versions of the story.

The tried and true way to summon Bloody Mary EVERY time, without fail:

1 1/2 oz vodka
3 oz tomato juice
1 dash lemon juice
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 - 3 drops Tabasco sauce
1 lime wedge

The series 'Supernatural' had a show dedicated to 'Bloody Mary" where the brothers went to stop her killings. This also had the way to summon her.

Yep, Bloody Mary is definitely real.....that's why every little girl over the age of 10 have seen her! That's definitely how many have tried!

Yeah, that's the way I have always heard it. We all thought we saw her though because of the tricky amount of light on a face in the dark, and the spinning making everyone dizzy.

Now, all of a sudden there are 3 threads about bloody mary. When will it all end?......

It's my understanding that Bloody Mary was a nickname for one of the Queen's of England known for beheading & torturing people that wouldn't convert to her religion. Something like that anyway...not sure if this legend is connected to her.

But does anybody know the root of this Urban Legend? They usually do start somewhere before they blow uplike this? Maybe there was a Mary that was gross and scary & did terrible things, perhaps involving mirrors? lol. I don't know but it would be nice to know after all these years at least how it came to be.

FYI - I too played when I was young, but I also panicked my self into heart palpitations without ever seeing a thing. Hehe.

I honestly wouldn't even know how to go about summoning her. There are so many ways to summon her. Such as just saying her name 3 times, saying her name 3 times while spinning, saying her name 13 times, saying it at midnight or on Halloween. Either way, I've tried the Bloody Mary thing quite a few times (and w/ quite a few variations depending on the legend) and none of them worked. Neither did the Candy Man chant for that matter.

I've seen dozens who've tried it, no one succeeded, Never met the first who claimed to have succeeded.

I believe in here my friend told me it workd but im wait to scared to try it.
