Well, I guess he was somewhat right...

I've been trying to teach myself to hold fire between my hands, and though I'm thinking that actualy holding fire in your hands is impoossible (I ALREADY know skeptics, so don't bother to further point it out!), I've found that heat raising, isn't. It's pretty cool. What I do to get this(I know skeptics, I know) is hold my hands like as to make a psi ball, but straight, and I think: 'Faster, faster, friction, friction, fire, fire!' It's cool. To me. Feel free to try it if you want, but you don't have to believe it or tell me it's impossible if you're a skeptic. I know it is, and nothing you can say can change that.

sorry to be a bit in your face but why would you want to create fire/use fire balls, if you were going to use psychic ability, why not to help people not to harm people? and the earths temperature is increasing already we don't need peopel increasing the temperature ¬.¬

Heh. You have a point there, man. True, the earth doesn't need anymore heating up, and helping people not to hurt others is a good cause, but it's not really efficent enough for yourself.

I suppose this is kinda pointless, but I do this to see if I could. Just for fun, really. Nothing really important. Just fun to play around with.

Creating heat is something that's wired right into our biology. Normally it's done with ATP reactions. Our mitochondria take care of the baseline with oxygen though we have a more primal bacterial kind which does it anaerobically.

I think there's something to monks who raise their core temperature. It would almost be like shivering but less perceptible perhaps due to a balance and less instinctive action of it.

I have no idea how it would get externalized though.

Every human being is able to somewhat "control" its temperature.

Of course its only a bit, and most time its unperceptive...
I think its called Thermokinesis, but i'm not sure.

However its good if you're feeling cold..

I think I know what you're talking about. I noticed one time during meditation noises synchronized with my thoughts caused the flame on the candles to jump 4 or 5 inches.
