Ok...after reading all of this thread I find myself with the urge to throw out some tips for some of you guys to consider BEFORE you bother buying a piece of crap game....
1) If it's a game version of a movie, don't even think about expecting it to be good. Off the top of my head I can't think of a single game based on a movie that ended up being the slightest bit enjoyable.
2) If you're going to play a Legend of Zelda game, expect to do pretty much the exact same freakin thing as the last Legend of Zelda you've played. The storyline...really doesn't change much. And the game play definitely doesn't.
3) If you see a game made/endorsed by a rapper... or any music star for that matter... don't...freakin....bother.
After years of game play I'd have to say that those are some golden rules to live by.
As for my list of crappies...
Only real one on my list is Dynasty Warriors. I started to play 6 on my buddies 360. I played for about 20 minutes, through the first level, and said "man... there is no storyline, and all you do is run around killing mass loads of people with the same 3 moves." Pretty ghey if you ask me.
There was a game I played back on SNES called... "secret of evermore" Seemed to be a pretty good game when i started playing it. 4 hours later, I had beat it. How disappointing.
Oh, and in regards to Fable. Great game, lots of extra things to do if you get bored with the main storyline. But if you only bought the original and not the lost chapters, then the final battle was probably the easiest boss battle you've ever had right? I know I took him out in about 30 seconds on the first try... quite disappointing. That and they hyped up the 'choose good or evil' thing but the 'great' choice you make... is at the very end of the game. Whoopty@#$%indoo....
Eh, there's my thoughts on the matter.

Are you serious???Those games are like the Classics of RTS!!!Except for the third one...it sucks i have to agree with that...
the 3 most disappointing games i have ever played are---
AOE3---fancy graphics but the gameplay just sucks horribly
BFME2---same reasons
TitanQuest---i really thought it was gonna be a good game, and that i would have fun with it for a looong time, but after about a week it was boring.Same thing over and over again.

Ninja Gaiden 2. Good game, but not the masterpiece i was expecting. None of it was hard and the things that were, were cheap and not based on skill like NG1. The story was horrid with an even more horrid ending. I feel this was rushed.

NG2 was kind of fun. But it WAS entirely too hard, even on it's easiest setting. Most of it was pretty cheap, too, particularly the boss fights, which are a massive pain in the *** to get through, if you CAN even get through them, that is. I gave up on the 7th level boss. This game is just not worth the frustration and anger that it causes. And I agree, the story is pretty bad. Also, Ryu is a totally boring and uninspired character. I think he has like 2 lines of dialogue throughout the entire game, not that there's that much in the game to begin with. There was basically no motivation or reasoning behind the levels and the character's actions.

yeah i would have to say quake wars on pc is better than quake wars on ps3
both imo are good just i prefer the pc version better in addition the pc demo is better cause it doesn't limit the time you can play the multiplayer option
as for previous comment ng1 is hard as hell
a lot of fun

Ninja Gaiden 2 was a very poorly made game i guess it was because Itigaki knew he was going to quit or he may have been fired like people say, it was way to easy all you had to do was dodge enemys and spam Y just another example of why i rent 95 percent of the games i play.

for myself, Id have to say quake III was the worst game Ive played. after playing 1 an 2 3 skipped the story line. 4 is a step up from 3 but the online game play isnt no where as great as 2. but the story line in 4 picks up where 2 left off which makes a great single player but still not as good as 2 so Id have to say 3 the worst then 4.

world of warcraft - i just dont see what all the hype is about. the only thing that made this game cool again was that south park episode.
Grand Theft Auto IV - the worst in the already mediocre series. its so easy to complete the main story and other than killing flying rats and jumping over stuff, there is really nothing to do in the game. and dont get me started on the internet cafe thing, maybe it wouldve been cool four years ago. step it up rockstar, the warriors was better.

The only game ever to be good from a movie, is Goldeneye on N64.
I don't tend to find games disappointing, i find the endings boring when you complete it. I used to play Shinobi on Game Gear, really great game. You do all four levels which are fairly challenging, then you have to go into this super special level that is extremely difficult. It has something like 50+ screens to do one after the other and if you lose, you have to start again from level 1. So, after time trying to beat the game i looked up the ending of the game. It was extremely disappointing considering the work that has been put in and the bruised and bleeding thumbs!

My favorite game of all time would have to be VII, but FFX was pretty good too, but it had that degressing storyline. Really fun in the beggining, not bad, but not good at the end.

Legend of Zelda Twillight Princess:
I love every LOZ game there is but was horribly
disapointed from the time i turn on the game.
First of the people are too detailed, and quests too
boring and easy. It is not a bad game alone, but
I wanted to play a LOZ game, this game felt like a
Shadow of The Colosses clone. Most of the bosses
are copies of ones from other games! After a few
hours i ripped the disc out of my Wii and went
back to playing LOZ Wind Waker.......I hope
Nintendo doesn't fudge up next time.

To the people saying Zelda: Twilight Princess was a let down - I somewhat agree. I really liked the game, but there were a couple of issues. One - sidequests. Collecting the goden bugs, and 60 poes were the only real sidequests - and the fact you had to travel all over the land to find them didn't conpensate for the lack of side quests. The game also felt even for a Zelda game a bit too linear. Especially during the mirror shards segment of the game - you finish one temple - on the next. OoT suffered from this towards the end somewhat too - but not this bad.
Also, the atmosphere. I didn't really feel much danger despite the darkness of the game and seeing the land covered by the twilight realm. In majora's mask we has Clock Town with each individual needing assistance (with differing actions on each day) and there was a sense of inpending doom with the moon crashing down. Twilight Princess didn't have this atmosphere - and also, lacked sidequests as mentioned. Also, the temple music in most of TP was very very ambient - I prefered the livlier - even if still doom inpending music that Majora had In fact some of the music was very medievil and jolly sounding and I think it attributed to Majora's masks atmosphere more because it felt rather obscure and zany - such as the Mask's insane powers itself.
