lol I liked it for a bit but i wound up doing the same thing over and over. Building house, creating a family, making family fight, throw a party, set family and party goers on fire, create maze for surving members to have to walk through, starve family, drown family and build a new house

DMC4. It was my first DMC game and after hearing great things from gamers and reviewers alike I was really pumped for the game, but sadly it was a massive let-down. It`s one of the most repetitive and boring games I have ever played.

Wow, are you serious? DMC4 is an amazing game. If you know how to use the combat system, it's far from being repetitve OR boring. Some of the battles in it are incredible. You want repetitive and boring, go play Dynasty Warriors.

Pokemon Ranger,I expected it to be good, being able to keep the pokemon I caught with my stylus,but...nope!Back to the wild they go,what a waste of time...I sold it the day after I bought it XD,and bought phoenix wright2 instead.
Agapo
Probably Sudeki, for XBox. You play the game through its crappy voice acting and loopy combat system only to defeat the final boss and...

That's it, the game just ends. There's no "Hooray we defeated the evil, now lets each take time to wrap up our individual stories in one spectacular ending scene!" It just ends.

A little closure would have been nice hmm.gif .

That's just your opinion Shakezulah, not fact. I was able to use and master the combat system and even If I hadn`t it would make no difference to the length of the game, repititious game-play or back-tracking which were my major issue's with the game. It certainly wasn`t a horrible game and at first I really enjoyed it, but it simply was just a major dissapointment for me. I was expecting so much more and that's just my opinion.
Ancient Snake
I would say Hellgate:London it really disapointed me because it was boring.
SOLANUM
I'd have to say 99 Nights for the XBox360, the box promised massive battles with many units, while it was true you were the only unit that did any damage at all, and I'm not exagerating the other units were nothing but diveresions, their attacks do NOTHING....and I coulnt get passed the 2nd mission so i gave up tongue.gif

Just out of curiosity, what difficulty did you play the game on?
Steven (The Fallen Angel)
OK It's not that I didn't like it, I absolutely LOVED it but they made such a big deal about Halo 2 and then it really wasn't as good as the first so it really disappointed me. Also I believe the name of the game was Crimson Sea for Xbox. Decent game but it could have been a hell of a lot better
Atheist God
Definitely the Guitar Hero 3 PC version... By far the worst port I've ever played.

I Played it on both the two difficultly levels available from the start, although I never bothered to finish it on Devil Hunter mode as I couldn`t notice the difference between that and easy and I obtained a cheap copy of Crackdown which I began to play instead. I`m not saying this is a bad game, it's not, the high-production values are obvious in the visuals, voice-acting, character design etc...... It was just too short and repititious for me personally.

Playing on different difficulty levels drastically changes the gaming experience in these games. Human mode is lame. You can button-mash your way through the whole thing. Devil Hunter actually is pretty challenging, especially in the later stages. Everything past DH just gets increasingly insane, like throwing enemies that normally come near the end of the game into the beginning stages and having all the enemies have large amounts of health while being able to dish out massive amounts of damage. I could understand not finding it fun playing on Human. You can do it blind-folded.
AztecInca
^Well Human was indeed quite easy, I personally couldn`t really see much of a difference between that and Devil Hunter though, except in the boss battles. I`m sure I`ll go back and play it again later this year when I have time and my opinion may change, but after playing the God of War games, this just didn`t live up to my expectations.

LOL at your long list... mine include Call of Duty 2 - was awesome on first mission, then after five billion more of the same exact thing over and over.........
and all of the Tom Clancy games lol.... they just suck.. oh yea and Gauntlet Legends Seven Sorrows.

Best games: MGS2 and 3, Resident Evil 4, Crash Bandicoot 2 original.gif, Legend of Dragoon, Legend of Legaia, and Mercenaries.

I can usually tell if a game is bad or not before I play it, so to be honest, I havn't played many. Though, one recent one would have to be the Mario Olympics on Wii. It's just a horrible copy of Mario Party. Anyhow, I agree that Legend of Dragoon was one of the best. So underrated.

It wasn't meant to be a huge epic game like the others. It was just a spinoff. And on those terms, I thought it was pretty fun. I'll admit, even though I still own it, I haven't touched it since I bought it.

Transformers for PS2 is the worst "modern" game I've played. By far. Sooooo horrible. Really depressed me, because I was a huge transformers fan when I was small. Only thing redeeming was that you could destroy pretty much every single thing in the environments; I love games like that.

Superman 64 stands as THE worst game EVER in my book. Graphics were completely unintelligible. Controls were even LESS intelligible, to the point where if you wanted to punch something in front of you, there's a good chance Superman would take a step backwards and then disappear through the ground. no.gif

Blasphemy! blink.gif Well, unless we're talking FF VIII..

1.Final Fantasy 12

I quite liked FF XII, actually. It took a long time before I began appreciating it, but when I first got the hang of it, I loved it. Sure, the plot is slow and has very few twists and turns compared to previous FF games, and the music is noticeably weaker than when Uematso was the composer for the FF series, but overall it's a great game methinks.

Anyway, mine would be:

The Sims and Sims 2 - Utter boredom. Seems just.. pointless to me.

Final Fantasy VIII - Dear God, make it stop. I hate Squall, I hate the plot, I hate the summon system, I hate the drawing magic system, I hate pretty much everything in FF VIII. Luckily Square got back on track with Final Fantasy IX.

The Simpsons Game - Sure, I didn't expect it to be anything really amazing, but good lawd was that a piss-poor effort of a game.

Starcraft - A dull sci-fi version of the IMO superior WarCraft games.

Blood II: The Chosen - It's just really, really awful compared to the original.

Quake II, III and IV - Quake I was great. Everything after has been mediocre at best.

Most of the Legend of Zelda games (haven't played all of them) - Sorry, but I just find them to be really, really dull games.

Silent Hill 4: The Room - While not really a horrible game, it's a letdown compared to the earlier games in the series.

I've never played the first Blood, but I played Blood 2 after reading a lot about it and seeing that was in very high regards with critics and gamers alike, and I thought it was an excellent game. How much better could the first one be?

And Quake IV is probably the best "average" shooter ever made. Nothing special, but damn is it fun all the way through.

The original Blood was better because it was a far more.. what should I call it.. intellectual FPS than most other FPS games at its time (and its sequel). There were numerous references to horror literature (Poe, Lovecraft and King), horror movies and movies in general (The Shining, The Crow, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street etc.) and pop culture, and it was full of pitch black humour. Blood 2 really wasn't much more than a straight forward FPS game lacking the humour of the original Blood, and with relatively few references to pop culture and such (and those who were included were mostly just dull and unfunny). If you're able to get hold of the original Blood, I'd recommend you to play it. It's a bit of a hassle to get it to run in Windows XP, but it's worth it. I still think the FPS genre peaked with Blood and Duke Nukem 3D, really.

As for Quake IV, it wasn't bad by any means. But I think the original Quake is the best in the series due to it being more about mythology, horror and monsters than the sci-fi setting and the cyborgs of Quake II, III and IV.

Hmm You and I have very differing view pints here, I find most of the Zelda games (with the exception of Windwaker and The Legend Of Zelda II) to be Awesome.

I Have to agree with you. That game wasn't worth a hundreth of what it costs. I played a buddies copy. He thought it was the best game ever (idiot)
Dark Kaos
All Ghost Recon games - Just terrible, the story lines, and action sucked.

Resident Evil Outbreak 1,2 - they were really annoying as hell, all the other Resident Evil games were way better.

Red Dead Revolver - It was too cartoonish to be a good western game, the story and game play was total crap.

That's all I can think of right now...
