Recently I've become very interested in the subject of artificial intelligence... so much so that I decided to take a crack at it... you can check out my signature for that...

I want to know how some of you feel about artificial intelligence... is it a good thing or something that will comeback to bite us in the ass, sometime in the future?

I think it will personally because the more advanced machines and robots become you'll eventually see them in the battlefield instead of our troops , And if their made smart enough tpo the point of having their own sense of awareness which could happen something like out of the terminator could happen Maybe not now but give it about 20-30 years, At that point i really won't care, I'll be too old to worry about it.

More than likely, The japanese or chinese have a female android that can interact with people.

Yes and no, it depends on your expectation. If you expected this android to "naturally" come up with anthing it said(especially the baby part), I would say no. Preprogrammed stuf...or at least, it was programmed for this specific interaction. If you came out of nowhere trying to interact with that thing, it would do very little. INteraction at a similar degree as those chatbot crawling all over the web.


I believe in the extraordinary potential of AI...but also, I fear it very much. Not for theese classical hollwood type scenario, but for my career as an artist. Ive dedicated my life in drawing, if an AI can do whatever I do in a blink of an eye, ill kill myself period.
