I took the photo below last summer, I didn't really set the photo up I just went outside and took it, would the blue circle above the kid with the blond hair be considered an orb? I have looked up orb photos on the internet and everyone says something different about what they are and what they are not.

Is this photo taken with an digital camera? Is the flash built-in or seperate attached on the camera?

It's overcast.
But if you have taken many photos you'll recognize this phenomena.
It's not a ghost.

Hmm I don't know. It doesn't really look like a orb that a ghost would have, but I could be wrong.

I took a look at the picture and didn't sense anything so sorry I don't think it's an orb. Orbs are usually smaller than that. I see them all the time and they're very tiny about the size of a pinky fingernail. It's the right color though because most of the orbs I've seen are that color but of course I've seen orbs in all sorts of colors from that shade of blue to purple to gold/orange.

Plasma orbs? Did you just make that up?

Please, there are so many examples of lens flares on the net and in photography courses, it just stands to reason that this is merely lens flare. Nothing else.

I understand there are many of you who want it to be more, and try really hard to make that connection between 'odd light' and 'ghost' but in my experience and in my opinion, this is just lens flare.

Yes i know, but my experiences has no opinion, i have seen a (something like) plasma orb.
And i'm a very lonely soul when no one understand me.(not here in the forum)
And i don't connect orbs or ghost photos to what is real.
radioactivestd
That is diffenately a lense flare. The creatures behind it though, may be unexplainable.

The orbs i see was totally different from any orbs photo on the net.
Too beautiful to compare and doesn't exactly match the colours.

Definately a lense flare you can tell by the direction that the sun is shining in and reflecting off the cameras lense. It would be more "orbish" if it was occuring else where with no real light source to make it.. Most orbs are seen in darkness from the pictures i've seen any way but i may be wrong about it original.gif
magic charm
here are some orbs or dust i took at an investigation at a pottery near where i live, thought some of you would like see..

ORBS - ORBS - ORBS - i`m sick and tired of orbs sleepy.gif When i`m looking for interresting fotos of ghosts on the net, i will have to look at all these boring pictures of DUST!!!! (and flashes in windows - lightened hair in front of the lense - and so on)
I think it is sad that people are so desperate to have a paranormal experience, that they wont see the obvious.

Thanks to magic charm for telling what the pictures are showing, and not trying to pretend it is something oh-so spooooky.
