I recently joined these forum and am impressed by the large variety of topics it withholds. I do have one question though. Are there are magickians that lurk these forums. Specifically right hand path magickians?
I am asking because i am one myself and it is always a pleasure to meet other individuals of likeness.

Is that like Magician's but more funky?

BTW there is really no right left or middle path.....or at least there doesn't have to be It's all the same power, just depends how you use it. If its not your power (eg. Power from a Diety or spiritual being etc.) don't use it....it's bad for you. Even if you are doing good.

While it IS all technically the same power, there are different ritualistic beliefs with all 3. The right hand path is more symbolic, the left is concidered a bit more explicit or direct, and the middle path takes a little from both sides. The right hand path is believed to be more spiritualistic then the left or middle. People have adopted the distorted image of the paths from a woman named H.P. Blavatsky. In her writings about the different paths, she simply said that the right hand path was good, and the left hand path was evil, even though this is not the case. The right hand path simply choses symbolic gestures, as the athame and chalice to symbolize the preists and presitesses joining, as where the left hand path choses to partake in the actual act.

Interesting. I work with raw spiritual energy and make it do what I want. No spells, mantra's etc. Just will and energy. Very useful in many applications, martial arts, healing, cleansing, banishing, protection, weather control....the list goes on. I have a question that some of you may know the answer to. Why is it harder to self heal than to heal others?

well i was interested in magick for a long time.
i never understood why do people always want to split everything into black, white righ, left...
it seems to me that most magicians don't bother with that differences.

That's odd. Logically, it should be the opposite. Due to the placebo effect, "healing" yourself should be much easier. What the heck?

well if you have doubt then it might be harder, but if other people don't doubt you then they will get better results from yourself.

Before you can heal you need to stabalize out of balance energies. It is harder to balance from an out of balance condition than it is from a balanced condition.

Magic can only have an effect on you if you believe too much into it. For example, if somebody you know said "I cast a curse on you", and you actually believe that it could happen, then your subconscious could simply kick in and start believing that something bad will happen, and you could start developing symptoms of some sort believing it's magic, when it's really just your subconscious. For example, since I don't believe in magic, and a magickian put a spell on me, I guarantee that it wouldn't have an effect on me. In fact, I challenge any magickian to do that. Curse me, do whatever.

As far as I'm concerned, magick is just a bunch of bologna.

...simple: if u heal urself u don't overcome ur weaknessess that led to that situation, the only moment when u can heal urself fast as healing others is when theres a selfless cause that enables u to do so, cause u forget urself while healing urself, cause sth. else is more important,.,..coming to the point that the self can only be in control if it serves higher purposes...damn i can't find any ha ha oh man another ironic twist, hu hu
...but if u heal urself while u "suffer"and don'tlike that pain" and or like urself being able to do so or even as a personification of someone who does this (endless list...). u step down into being just lame and whiny ...bla bla actually just another form of masturbation...

am i the only person to get irritated as hell when magic gets spelled magick? and i'm sorry, but no matter how you rangle it, you can't make magickians sound like magicians. it just turned into ma-jick-ians

i guess you know the reasons because of why is magic magick?
i don't mind magic i would rather spell magic, but magician is more street magician then magic user, so when somebody uses magician i mostly think of person who does illusion tricks.

Really though, I prefer the "magick" spelling, simply because it makes it easier to search for on Google.
