Most disturbing? Alas, I cannot say lest some pre-pubescent goes and googles it.
Though, South Park disturbs me at times...
Like when Cartman convinced Butters to fake his own death by jumping off a building. But instead of Butters jumping they threw a pig over and it's guts sprayed all over his parents. Then his father buried his son (the pig) in a pet cemetary thinking he'd come back to life. Then when Butters came back home his parents thought he was a zombie so locked him in the cellar and tried to feed him corpses, but all he wanted was some SpaghettiO's.

I'm sad to say that I haven't seen that episode. It sounds as though it was greatly amusing. I would have to say though, that the most disturbing cartoon that I have seen, was the new Ren and Stimpy shows. (They aired right before Gary the Rat...Kelsey Grammer) I really loved the old episodes, but the new ones, with them being lovers....it quite disturbed me.

mine would be south park
I dont have pay tv so there fore dont get Adult swim
disturbing as in "this is nuts oh my god im scared and embrassed for these people" then that would be this weird japanese cartoon where it was crazy and had alot of adult content
anyhoo
most disturbing comic book cartoon thing as in "this is nuts oh my god im scared and embrassed for these people"
would be that weird Mysteries of or world its scifi and has cartoons depicting the past as well as the future it was made in the 1960s anyhoo there is a cartoon based in the year 3000 and there are aliens that look like jellybeans with legs anyhoo the scene that disturbed me most was a little square dipicting the guys wife.......oh my god i cant write it okay here it goes it shows that guys wife in the kitchen ......oh my get this she was washing the dishes as usual in almost every scene she was in it was based in the kitchen it was awful after 1000 year syou would hav hoped they woman would nt be in the kitchen let alone us not needing kitchens

I think that cartoon "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy". I've only ever seen one episode, and I think it would make little children stay awake for weeks. This dumb kid attempts to sell chocolate door to door, but ends up eating it all. Eventually, he himself turns into chocolate, eats most of himself, then explodes from eating more chocolate.

No one really metioned any old cartoons. Everyone is talking about how disturbing cartoons are these days for kids. Has anyone thought back to cartoons 10-20-30 years ago? Popeye was always beating Bruno up over and anerexic girl; Sylvester was always trying to eat Tweety; Tom was always trying to eat Jerry, who was beating him right back; Wile E Coyote was always trying to get RoadRunner, which always got him. And so on and so on. Really, other then adding some blood and unforunitally fowl language, they main ones are basically the same (not including AdultSwim on Cartoon Network, I've seen those, those are disturbing)

I love Southpark most of the time, but there are episodes that really really bug me and I can't watch them.
Other than that, there's really nothing on Adult Swim that totally offends me... although I think this new Mole Man thing is dumb and I don't like those two guys who did Tom Goes to the Mayor (or whatever it was) and Assy McGee is pretty stupid. But oddly I like Frisky Dingo.
The absolute MOST disturbing cartoons I've ever seen have not been shown on Televison. The most disgusting and repulsive stuff you'd ever want to see can be watched at the Spike and Mikes Twisted Animation Film Festivals. Some towns and theaters will not show the feature length movies which are comprised of animated shorts. They are typically rated NC17 and for good reason. Personally, I still go to see them, but there are some segments I can't watch.
Beevis and Butthead as well as Ren and Stimpy got their start and gained their popularity with Spike and Mikes. They were always some of the tamer shorts included in the festival. I don't think I've actually ever seen the original Beevis and Butthead outside the film festival... that short included Beevis, Butthead, and Hank Hilll and family from King of the Hill. It's about 18 years old now.
The only other one I can think of that really freaks me out is Jimmy Neutron... that show just gives me the serious creeps.

Hmmm. Someone mentioned "The Grim Adventures of Bill and Mandy"
I would also like to add "Invader ZIM"
Both cartoons are kind of too dark for the intended younger audiences. When I was younger, I would watch Invader ZIM and tried to understand the complete randomness of it all. Now, I crack up whenever I see it, because now I know that alot if it is just randomness.
Kinda of the same for The Grim Adventures, some of the jokes like "Its partially hydrogenated!" I dont think kids would understand what that means

Wicked City, hands down as the most disturbing cartoon. *shudders* Inter-dimensional-alien-tentacled-bug-eyed-beasties and the police that are trying to stop them from coming into this dimension. There is a difference form then and now...Form back then they are
very similar to every day scenarios...
Popeye and
Bruno are just your
normal guys that
real boys did back then, but set for children at the ages 8 and up...
Tom & Jerry, Sylverter and Tweety was a
humorous twist in a cartoons from reality...(We all ready know what would happen with a real cat, mouse and bird...The cat would win).
So tell me this, whats is
your point of view that you find these cartoons disturbing besides the fighting?...
South Park is still abit disturbers to me...
