I've read and viewed so much material about the events of 9/11 that I'm rather surprised to have missed this.

It's a video called 911 Eyewitness 1 of 3. It appears to be the source footage of the short clips posted in another thread, which appeared to show an explosion (evinced by a camera shake) followed by a debris cloud emanating from the base of the towers. This fuller video shows more of the same and is worth watching for that alone. However, for those who run out of patience, skip to the segment that begins at 19:08. Watch the helicopter that is circling the tops of the towers. At 19:17 the first in a sequence of flashes appears to come from the helicopter. The footage is slowed down and shown again, starting at around 22:20.

Can anyone explain what these flashes might be?

Actually this vide has been referred to in a FEW threads here at this site they all (the de -bunkers) have al dismissed it saying someone "Bumped" the tripod this film By the eyewitness from Hoboken is the MOST damning of all the videos But it seems to have dropped out of circulation does this Video appear in a normal US google search these days? it used to be availible all over i looked for it when it was mentioned in other threads

this particualrt VIDEO is excellent in that not only does it SHOW the explosion clouds it also registers explosions on the tripod shake
intersting flashes this is a re-made video including the information with the helicopters i saw Ricks original video and heard his interview it is well worth watching

Yes, I've archived it too - so much of the most interesting 9/11-related material seems to go missing.

Any idea what those flashes could possibly be? They look to me to be clearly coming from the helicopter.
