April 29th here in America. You guys are lucky to be getting it already. I can't wait for it. I've had it pre-ordered for a few weeks almost.

Down under we also get it on the 29th which suits me perfectly as it's one of my day's off from work and Uni. May have to give Uni a miss on wednesday though as I`ll be playing this game to death.

Tuesday is the only day I have off completely. All the other days are either school or both work and school. My last class ends like 2 weeks later, anyway. Then I'll have most of the summer to waste playing this.

I have it pre-ordered at Blockbuster and they don't open til 10. And since I couldn't get a full sleep due to excitement, I woke up at 7. It's quarter past 9 now. I can't wait to get it. The reviews have been amazing so far.

gta4 is soooo awesome -_-

I hate the lightness and uber-suspension of the cars. Spoiled it slightly imo.

True, the game does start off a bit slow, but once it does get into the more action-oriented missions, it quickly becomes better than any of the other GTA's.

Just beat it, finally. The last mission is a huge pain in the ass until you figure out exactly how to do it. It took me about 12 tries, haha.

Overall, this is absolutely amazing. The story was excellent the entire way through, and the voice acting often matched, and at times, even surpassed the talents of real actors. I haven't enjoyed being a character this much since I played the Jak series. I'm sad that it's over. It sucks knowing that Niko won't be coming back in any future GTA titles, because Rockstar really had something special with this cast of characters.

^The storyline is indeed very entertaining but the voice-acting for Michelle/Rachel was absolutely horrible and stood out against the generally decent voice-acting for the rest of the characters. Due to university assignments I have only just unlocked the final island, so I should finish the game relatively soon.

I got to the final island after 3 days, and I didn't want to finish it too soon so I've been playing online for the last few days. I should complete it this week. The game is absolutly awesome. Everything what I liked about the previous GTA's is in it, and everything that could be better has been made better. I kinda do miss the country sides and deserts we had in San Andreas, but I still couldn't think off anything else that might be considered a flaw. Really a fantastic game that lived up to it's expectations.

I cannot seem to figure out the 1st mission with Dwayne. The one that you have to follow his girlfriend's other man. I let the girl live and the biker got away. I killed her and he got away. Any pointers?

You have to kill her boyfriend to complete the mission. You can choose to let her live or kill her. The better choice seems to be to let her live.

LET HER LIVE she is a random charcter later on. My suggestion is that you get the GTA4 guide as it tells you all the random charcters and stuff My brother played before i did he killed the girlfriend chick and other characters without realizing you can get benifits from certain ones later in the game. Its a good game I havent playe dit on line yet though.

One thing I have to ask ok..if I use codes ...ok ok NOOB status here roast me if you will....is there any achievements that I won't receive?

When you enter a cheat code, a message comes up telling you exactly what achievements the code blocks.

completed it and loved it now playing online, my name is chemicool, i am the one who always blocks roads with cars then shoots you down like a dog

ive got gta 4 a couple of weeks ago and to be frank , its AMAZING seriously its graphics are top notch along with its physics and the choices in storyline are rlly gripping theres two endings both of which dont rlly feel like a victory because of how sad they are i wont ruin it for u though

i completed the game but only came out with 97% complete i did everything i could but my guess is i didnt date kate enough and well yeah i dint take the deal so yay I have started again this time knowing where hidden weapons are doing missions better etc and its good. But if i do everything right and come out with 99.9% ill snap that disc in two lol

just nailed 100% completion,,,,,,,very unrewarding. i was expecting like fireworks or something but i got nothing,,,,damn you rockstar!!!!!

I didn't use cheats untill i nailed 100% so that gave me a bit of enjoyment but forby that,,,,,sux

What do you really get at 100% on PS3? Also are the cheats cool i mean are there funny cheats like big heads or something hang on ill just go google them oh oh do they ruin your game?

Some cheats do not allow you to earn certain achievements on the 360 but other then that all the cheats are safe to use and won't mess up your game. You get out your phone dial the number and a message saying cheat activated will pop up.
