I have seen the clip several times. I don't think it is a ghost, but somehow it seems to show that the girls reflection seemed to display independance suggesting that the mirror is a portal to a parallel universe.
There was a film that came out in the 60's called 'Journey to the Far Side of the Sun.' This man travelled to a parallel Earth thinking it was the one he came from. However, he noticed that everything was the wrong way around. Towards the end of the film one of the characters who was in a wheelchair stared at his reflection in the mirror and went right into it.
In a strange way, it is like the parallel image of the little girl took on a life of it's own.
Sometimes, I see myself in the mirror and wonder if the person staring back at me is really my reflection, or I am theirs.
In Judaism, when somebody dies, the mirrors must be covered to keep out evil spirits, if memory serves correctly. What happened is this clip with this girl doesn't surprise me, but something else is strange-the girls eyes in the mirror when it turns around are somewhat different, almost dark.
Some cultures use to fear cameras, and mirrors for fear of them capturing spirits. Our digital technology, and through several photos that I have taken indicates that there is some truth in the ancient natives fears.
Another possibility is that our reality is beginning to merge with another reality, or even scarier yet, it begs the question as to what is reality and is our life an illusion?

I remember that movie lol...
One thing that i observed from this footage is that the reflection freezes exactly after the girls hand passes the mirror in the reflection.
One thing that validates its authenticity is if you watch just before the video ends you see the girl in the reflection blink it's either a blink or her eye moves which would suggest that it's not a freeze frame job. Also the eye in the reflection seems to be larger than the actual girls eye(s) but i am pretty damn sure that the eye in the reflection moves just before the video fades out so it can't be a still frame.
It's a shame that i can't examine it more closely.. If i had a copy of the footage i could do a frame by frame analysis.. Yes maybe going into it too far but i like to research and get answers

Another thing that kinda scares me about this is i get this gut feeling that the girl in the reflection is NOT the girl who looked into it, i dunno her face kinda changes when the girl turns around i just get this distinct feeling that it's not her you can tell by the facial features, the darker more glossy hair, the larger blacker eyes.

Could the mirror image have been altered subtly to give the one that impression? I mean, could the eyes have been widened just a touch, or the hair darkened?

I very much doubt that even subtle alteration could be accomplished without totaly freezing the entire thing and making the exact same alteration to the reflection frame by frame.

The most realistic paranormal video I've ever seen. People are replying to the video "The reflection looks fake", "It looks like a doll", "the eyes don't move". The reflection is identical to the girl, and the reflections' eyes do move. I'm not saying this is real, but it is very convincing.

you can do it in AfterEffects, an Adobe editing software. Simply "cut" a portion (ie the mirror) out of a frame (the one where she's turned round) and layer that over the subsequent frames. Its probably the easiest thing to do with the software.
And in terms of changing stuff like the eyes or the colour of the hair (not that there is any evidence of this in the video other than distortion made by digital compression) that is likewise very easy to do.

Funny how people tend to believe this. Maybe I am being cynical, but how often do you video tape your child brushing her hair in the mirror from behind? Maybe it is me, but whenever I video tape anyone, I usually ask them to look at the camera.

Okay guys. that freaked the crap outta me. I guess i can see how that can be done with film editing, but that one dude was right about her eyes being larger. She really did look different. I hope this video is real because it was so awesome! Gave me chills.

At the end of the video, when she turns to the side, It looks like she is reaching for something. What is she reaching for?It looks like shes reaching for something that isn't there, then pointing back to the spot saying something. What do you suppose she was saying?

I would say it was proven that it's not that difficult, it didn't take long for Justejust to wow us with her video editing expertise.
Here is the previous thread, look for Justejust post #16, she linked the video she created as an example there.

Not necessarily. Full bodied, opaque apparitions have been recorded before. Let's take the ghosts seen on flight 401 for example. The witnesses there thought they were talking to healthy, living people before they went *poof* and disappeared into thin air.
Sure, J-Horror uses a lot of these effects but I think the element that suggests that this clip
could be real is the fact that it's a home video. It'd take a lot of expensive professional equipment to fake something like that.
It might be real,it might not be. After seeing JusteJust's video I guess it could be faked... who knows.
