Now the bit involving the complex equipment...

Go outside on a clear night. Point a standard issue human eyeball at Mars (they usually come in pairs, use both if you wish). Now see what colour Mars is. I'll give you a clue, it's been known for centuries as the "red planet".

Oh bugger, I lost my manual...somebody got a spare?!

Cheers,
Badeskov

PS: sorry Waspie, I couldn't help it rolleyes.gif

You never know what the hidden features are if you don't read the manual. wink2.gif

If NASA came out with the blue sky pics first then all of the Conspiracy jobbers would be saying that the Mars missions were faked and that all pics were taken on earth in the Mohave desert.

Can you say Moon landing?

No problem, Bady...

The beauty is, they are indeed pretty complex pieces of equipment, but they're fully automatic and redundant. All you have to do is wake up and open the lids and they're operational.

I don't think they actually issue manuals anymore!

That's true MID, but it is the complex computer system used to operate the image processing software that some people seem to struggle with.

Indeed...I have noted that repeatedly!
