Ive read the book & as interesting as the book is, i cant help but feel his story is a bit Cliche, the visiting spirit guide & his general take on what is happening in his life was a bit familiar with many fictional books & films , his story is a little too perfect!

what do people think of the book & his story, and astral projection/remote viewing in general

Wrong forum sub section buddy...Metaphysics is the second door on the right.

For the record if its to good to be true it usually is. Remember that anyone can claim to be psychic but none have bin able to prove it. If a person could honestly do psychic stuff they wouldn't be writing a book...they would be front page news, a scientific marvel, a world celebrity, and the biggest discovery since the Hot Pocket.

Some people that have performed astral projection have been able to view certain things while in the unconscious state. Theres alot of things going on that are very eerie and dont have an explanation but I have heard of scientists doing expiriments and they had people look for numbers on a napkin and they couldnt read them....I dont think any of them could read it so I dont know...now they DID say that the government uses people for remote viewing but Im not too sure and to be honest I dont know the difference between the 2 really.

I don't know about that. Not everyone that is psychic wants to be worldwide famous, they would only be front page news if they wished it that way.

Writing a book is a very dignified thing to do and can spread information very quickly, granted not as fast as TV for instance, but not everybody wants their face plastered all over the world lol.

I think the experiences drove Morehouse insane. He's really crazy, actually. And his descriptions of remote viewing in his book are nothing like he teaches in his oh-so expensive workshops. I give his book an A+++,but him as a human a C.

he got shot in the head then started hallucinating strange things and people who said promote peace, dont wana be to cynical but i think if i were shot in the head i would to promote peace, I MEAN THAT MUST HURT!

I have the book, and enjoyed reading it....some very interesting stuff in it.

I must confess, though, that I wasn't so interested in his personal trauma bits.

But, the human angle, was a major part, so I mustn't complain.

The bit about the arc of the covenant had me holding my breath...as it is an interest of mine...and I was like....where? where?

But I do think that remote viewing is facinating. So I'm biased.

I actually wonder if something that we're not told about it, is that drugs may be used to heighten the powers of the remote viewers.....that they experiment with different drugs to see what happens. I wonder if this might have contributed to the personal stuff that happened to Morehouse. Or it might have been regular stress. It's a while since I read it.

I think that remote viewing doesn't exist.

I do think some people use drugs to induce some hallucinations and also maybe to heighten any existing talents they may have.

It is a shame if drugs are used though, I always think that using them is forcing something that otherwise would remain hidden (where maybe it should be until the person is ready).

I'm with you, Wombat. But, I do know this girl that tried experiments where she was told to sit in a room and concentrate on the drawing that a person was drawing in the next room and draw it and she was right 85% of the time. It was probably the girl, since she is very ethereal and able to pass thru walls and stuff and do Reiki..
