I have been researching the zodiac killer for a long time, and thought I could solve it. First, I went to wordsmith.org/anagram. Next, I replaced ALL symbols w/ the letter i. finally, many anagrams appeared, a few containing the name Mike, in reference to Michael O'Hare, a suspect. Questions or comments? Please respond. I've been intrigued by this mystery for ages. I would love to know the real identity of the Zodiac!

Personally I always felt that Allen was the best "fit"--unfortunately the DNA and palmprints don't match.

Really annoying, because Allen is so right for this crime in so many ways!! I know he always denied being the Zodiac, but then most killers do.

But---I don't know of any way to "explain away" the fact that the evidence doesn't point to him.

I'd love to see this case solved!

Anagrams can be used to "prove" anything.

For just one example the ONLY "evidence" "proving" that Lewis Carroll, the author of "Alice in Wonderland," was Jack the Ripper is a handful of rather convolutedly-contrived anagrams.

Jack the Ripper, by the way, anagrams as both "Perth Pier Jack" and "Herr Jack Pepit."

Yeah I knew that one all long. I read all the Zodiac crime scene evidence and looked at all the letters and codings, etc. Anyone ever read the holdiday letters and pictures he drew out for the police? They always had a clue in those too. I remember when I used military coding from WW II and greek, roman, and english, and tons of other alphabets and placed them together and combined some of the letters, then it all started coming together. plus Jack Tarrance's grandson said that he found tons of letters, weapons, codings, and uniforms, in his grandfather's items left behind him after death. I emailed San Fransico and Valejo California Police and told them about the stuff that I had found. They told me that there wasn't no way in that being him but something kept coming back to that name. I got a topographic map of the area where the bodies were located and sure enough it made about a six mile radius around Jack's old house. So who knows, maybe we all that have looked at everything and found the name Jack T. showing up continously might be on to something that no one else could figure out.....but there's also another loose end too. How the Zodiac disappeared and no one ever heard from him again until these copy cats started appearing out? There might be a prestige or a protege of his getting ready to make his debue from Zodiac's shadow and continuing his work.

if it is proved that jack tarrance was zodiac,i'm wondering if the police will look for a link between him
and allen?to be not involved,allen sure knew a lot about it.
