Hello there, This is my first post here and i have a few photos here that i want to share. I was out with my girlfriend last week in a wooded area by her house and we were taking pictures. As we were taking photos we noticed these orbs once we took these photos. They arent in all of them but just in a few. My first reaction when i saw them was that maybe it was a camera glitch or glare or something similar to that. But i looked more closely and i noticed these were perfect spirals and it even looks like there is an aura present on them. I just wanted to get some imput from you guys and girls, any feedbak is welcome. Thanks!

Not too many people will respond to photo's of orbs, because they can be explained away as dust, moisture, pollen, or many other things. Is it a spirit? Maybe,..chances are no though. original.gif

Welcome to the forum, pixillated. thumbsup.gif

And thank you for posting the photos.

The tendency is for everyone to ascribe digital photo orbs as a byproduct of the lens, or as the reflected flash from the camera as it hits small objects in the vicinity, i.e. dust, water, insects etc. Outdoors, it is more likely to be moisture or insects, and inside, dust.

What is the story of the woods location that you were in, as you were obviously searching for something... geek.gif

hey Pix
the latest wave orbs are like these .....they have the discernable features that move past the dust or water droplet theory.......B

With a slight dot in the middle, i'm tempted to believe there's an ulterior explanation to simply "dust". Dust orbs don't look like that

Types of pollen have designs in the center. Below is a pollen orb.

I agree it's pollen... but, insects like mosqitoes, or lightening bugs wouldn't cause such an orb? j/a

Sunny, you ever hear of Rods? I think the majority or ALL rods are flying insects. The camera elongates the image of the flying insect producing many sets of wings on an elongated body. These are also misrepresented as fairies and pixies or whatnot.

I suppose under the right conditions they could look like orbs though..maybe. original.gif

I wanted to say welcome to the forums to pixillated as well!! thumbup.gif

Hey thanks for the replies and the welcomes everyone! I've been lurking on here for a few months and thought this was a good opportunity to chime in. These photos just caught me by surprise as I have taken thousands of photos with that camera and thats never happened before. No matter if it is a spirit orb or just pollen, they look pretty interesting haha.

Well there aren't many stories that i have heard, but my girlfriend has had experiences. Her and her mom have these "dreams" (i put in quotes because it could be more than that) where they have outer body experiences, but not willingly. My gf has had many experiences where she has been woken up from sleep, night and daytime and she wakes to the sight of people that shouldn't be there that tell her to get up. When she does get up she sees herself in her bed at the same time, and shes not able to touch anything tangible. It's like shes trying to grab at a hollogram (her words) and these people always lead her to that area where we were and asking her to join them if she would like. I have no clue what that would mean though. Obviously she hasn't joined them lol (sounds cheesy I know) but she's had this sort of thing happen many times. I could spend writing here all day explaining them. They're actually pretty damn interesting.

First, I would like to wonder aloud about the flying rods phenomenon. I too believed they could be pretty much 100% ascribed to flying insects for the reasons Barek details above, but I have seen some footage on a documentary that showed one passing through a person. Clearly an insect would not do that. So I'm not sure.

Second, the experience your girlfriend has with something leading her to a location and asking her to join them smacks of the 'little people' method of operation. You know, they lure children away to a location to spend time with them, and the child returns a day later to find that 40 years have passed? That sort of thing.

Very interesting.

They are pretty though. We should have an orb contest.

I agree with Loonboy, 99/100 are probably explainable. If you want to see some cool orbs watch this video starting about 30 minutes into it. First house is ok, second house has some very cool footage. Add to that all the people that report seeing them, and I'm willing to concede that maybe some orbs could actually be unexplained.
