I wanted to get your opinions on these pics. The first one with my daughter, there is a circular blue thing above her head kinda behind her and it is not any kind of decoration on the hat. The other 2 from the cemetery where my daughter is buried(not the one in the photo): First is untouched and the second one i enhanced the color to help bring it out, in the upper left corner there seems to be a blue smoke (no one was smoking)

I used to work in a processing lab. There are MANY reasons for wierd things to happen in photos. A tiny speck of dust can add weird little marks on your photo, even a little bit of dried water on your lense could make the marks on your picutres. Basically, those marks are caused by light not travelling to the film and leaving an inpression, thus showing up in black marks. The smokiness was probably either from marks on the film from the processing, or somehow the film got a little damp. I would love to have absolute proof to show someone that there was something supernatural caught on film, but see non of that here. Sorry. But, I could be wrong.

I think there are more patches of colour on the photo that you attribute as blue smoke. I have circled them and attached the image below.

I'm not sure what caused the discoloration but a reasonable explanation is breath that reflects the camera's flash.

They appear to be light anomalies. The Blue orb like anomaly is very likely a flash reflection from the lamp in the background. The shape and colour coresponds with the shape of a reflection from the lamp in the background caused by the camera flash or some other bright light in the room. The sky could just be faint aurora borealis picked up by the camera but not the naked eye or imperfections in the lense.

Hi Brianasmommy

Very sorry to hear of your loss =( As the others have said, it's very likely that the strange marks are simply just photographic anomalies created by dust or the flash etc. Having said that, there's always the faint possibility that they are genuine paranormal experiences, I really can't say as i'm not an expert on photographic development, but Glorybebe and the others obviously have a better idea of what to look for so i'd go with them thumbsup.gif

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It must be hard... sad.gif I really can't explain those anomalies in the photographs. The blue smoke is somewhat squiggly in the photo, and not like a streak - much like a 'reflection' of something would be.
MasterPo
Yea, probably a light anomoly or a development bug.
Thozzman
The first one looks like a processing bug and the second "smoke like" phenomena could be a bug (no not an insect wink2.gif ), as well.
On the other hand, nobody knows for certain what caused this phenomena, and who's to say that a spirit couldn't cause processing bugs on photographs?

I say there's no way to tell what the phenomena is an be 100% sure, so go with your heart. After all there is the chance that these are subtle signs from a spirit entity, and not so easily explained away.
Keep your eyes open and take notice if any further photo's show any abnormalities. original.gif
