The whole point of being secretive about the subject of UAP/AOP is to convince a vocal minority of the Scientific Community that there is no reality to UAP/AOP.

I mean could you imagine the backlash that would occur if it was shown to be true that the most amazing discoveries in Science were just simply ignored for hundreds of years and this "attitude of ignoring" persisted until 2007!
