I got the Kane Edition, just finished the GDI campaign last night all on hard difficulty took me four days to do it. I love it not so much for the strategy of the game but to finally have the cheesy FMV again. I played a few matches online got owned hard, probably some Korean kid! Now to play the Nod campaign.

Dang can a MOD fix my title to Welcome back Commander. Thanks in advance!

one more of the screenshot I took this is later in the game when a surprise enemy enters into the mix

Loved the rest of the C&C series (I didn't think Generals was so good, though), I hope this one lives up to the rest. yes.gif

I really don't. I heard about command on the net and figured I'd give it a go since I have a computer now that can actually run a modern game. My gaming is limited all to AoE2 tongue.gif I cursed out the game and shut it off. I'll probably try some more tomarrow. That demo though was a problem getting a hold of. 1.2 gigs for a demo is just insane.
Super Pancake
yeah i know i was like wtf when I saw how huge the demo was the full game is over 5 gb which ain't bad for games today. anyway once you play the game a couple of times you should be able to notice the tactics the pc uses most of the time. The game gets interesting once you play people online its not like playing chess but its close enough to see how people think of ways to destroy you!

Met one guy on the net who hinted he studied napoleon and some common roman military tactics to beat me. ;lol:

I managed to complete both NOD/GDI/SCRIN missions on normal setting which was a pain because some of the levels can really be hard. Now i have to try and finish it on it's hard.

I was a little dissopinted about the scrin levels though because there are only about 4 or 5 missions for the scrin once you beat both NOD and GDI missions.

Gah 5gb? That's gonna take ages for me to...walk to the shop and buy with my money...

Finished it already? How many hours did you put in to it?

Guessing I would say 120 hours. I tend to play strategy games like crazy because I love them I played supreme commander like crazy when it came out lol and I did the same for this game. I brought the Kane edition.

When I have a game I enjoy I tend to not sleep for days .
Raptor
Hah, 120? That's crazy.

I just got it a while ago. I've been playing through the GDI missions but I haven't got too far yet. I'm glad they included so many elements from Tiberian Sun, it really took me back. It's awesome so far.

We need to have a few UM skirmishes. yes.gif

I always liked the Red Alert setting over the Nod/GDI one...but its still Command and Conquer so I'll end up buying it.

As long as this type of game can work well on a 360...which seems hard with a analog stick and a limited number of buttons.

I got the game recently, and I've liked it a lot.
It took me like 45 minutes just to finish the first GDI mission because in the beggining I was trying to attack the base only with infantry units. I had like 20 and said to myself "yeah, now these NOD suckers won't know what hit them". I got pwned before I destroyed the first vehicle laugh.gif That, and the fact that every minute that "more silos needed" showed up, and my Orcas wouldn't respond to my command and attack the base on their own. I finally had to use the ion cannon to kill the b*****.

Just some proof of why I suck at RTS games tongue.gif

C&C has to be the best strategy games around. C&C Tiberium Sun will always be my favorite.
