That is amazing. About how long was the mug missing? Has anything else ever happened? Don't know if your brother was just being joked with or if something was plain being mean. By any chance did anyone assoicated with your brother pass away shortly before he received the mug or even afterwards? Sorry for the questions but this is interesting!

Hey FC!
not that this OP isnt a true story but this reminds me of a friends house that I used to move and hide stuff when he wasn't looking to mess with his head

....... then, next week return the displaced items to thier original spots on shelves or table tops etc........B

It sounds like something or someone is messing with you. I'm curious if that's the only thing that it happened to though. Are you sure nothing else around the vicinity disappears and reappears occasionally?
I remember reading in one of the books I inherited from my grandpa about something that seems relevant. At the time I can't remember the exact name of the book. In a university they left these two leather straps that were shaped in a triangle sit in a glass chamber untouched for some years. When they came back to check on them, the two leather triangles had been interlocked with no sign of human tampering. This would be impossible without cutting the leather and restitching it. They came up with some term for what happened, but not a really good explanation.
