I think:-
1) photoshop
2) the 'bird' is closer to the camra than the plane
3)its a hanglider (closer to the camra of course)

I'll let you all talk over them.
I think there fake but what do you think?

Just looks like its close to the camera.

You can take some pretty cool photos using an effect like that, like by standing way in front of a tall building and pretend to lean up against it, then if you position the camera properly it can look like you're taller than the building. Or you can hold the sun.

It's a Thunderbird! No wait, it's an Angel! No wait, it's a Dragon! No wait, it's John Travolta pretending to be Icarus!

It is VERY obviously a bird that flew over the camera as the shot was taken. It is way closer to the camera than the plane.
capoeiranger
^Agreed, some parts of the wing of the plane was covered by the bird.

Exactly it's just a trick the camera plays on the eye.
cor_raven
No it is real. They have invented passenger planes the size of seagulls.
Urisk
The plane's fake 'tache must've fallen off.

c'mon..!! its a real bird.. and a RC plane rolleyes.gif
Genocyde
To be honest, it doesn't even look like a real plane.
isis-999
It looks like photoshop to me.....

I dunno what kind of plane that is, but it doesn't look like a jet liner. Is this actually some kind of small unmanned recon device or something?

When I first saw the picture I thought "oh ya, the bird is closer to the camera than the plane" which still looks like the case, but on second look, it doesn't look like a plane at all. The bird looks like a very large gull based on the wing shape.

The plane is real enough, Boeing makes a model like that, it's a passenger plane. How I know it's real and not fake is the jet contrails from the twin turbofan engines. It would take a real artist, alot of time to get them to look right. What is making the plane look fake is the altitude, it's probably up there around 30,000 feet or so. The "bird" however, is another matter. Whatever it is, is closer to the camera than the plane. What makes me think it may be a Photoshop fake is the wingtip closest to the unidentified object is very neatly cut off. There is a space where there shouldn't be. Unless of course this is do to some optical effect. This photo can't really be judged accuratly in any case, it's not of good enough quality. No real details can be seen. I for one would like to see the aircrafts tail numbers, that would be a good place to start. Of course if those numbers were visible, the "bird" would be clear as day. We would know what it was. Now, it's just another interesting, but possibly fake photo. One among many.

Good Journey.

Do you know what the Boeing model is? I used to live next to Payne Airfield in Everett right next to the north Boeing plant, and my boyfriend owns a home that overlooks the Renton airfield which is where Boeing does the final send off to their customers. I've NEVER seen a plane that looked like that taking off from either airfield.

You guys are all so stupid its not even funny. The swamp gas around that area used the light of venus to reflect into the camrea and case that image which was taken while under sleep paralysis. thumbsup.gif

Not sure exactly. I believe I did see this type of aircraft associated with Boeing somewhere, although I may be wrong. The aircraft is a passenger plane in any case. I will try and find out what type and who makes it, then I will post it.

I did some looking around, and Boeing does make a few models that resemble this plane. It could be either a 717 or a 727, it's difficult to tell from the underside. I think it's likely a boeing aricraft though, in the world of passenger aircraft Boeings are some of the most popular. This is just an educated guess though, on the type. It would be easier if some of the aircrafts markings could be seen. I got the info from Boeing's website, they have pictures of all the aircraft they have produced.

The plane is real, I am watching those fly over my house all the time, so I think it's just a coincidence that the bird flew right in the direction of the camera at that time.... so yea, I think it is a simple trick of light.
Ceres
Yeah, I say it's just a camera trick too.

That is a very cool picture! I like it a lot. happy.gif

I think its as stated an illusion the Bird passed the camera
at a lower altitude from the aircraft and it appears as its the same height
i dont think its faked just misinterpreted
DieChecker
I think this shot was on the Coast to Coast website and the poster said they saw the plane was going to go right over the bird and so they waited for exactly the right moment. It's real, but just an illusion created by a regular bird.
snuffypuffer
I think that's a DC-9, though it's been a few years since my aerospace buff days, so I might be wrong.
