I remember a few years back, i was on this one website (i forgot what site it was). And the people allegedly were digging deep into the ground to find sounds of teutonic plates in the earth. But the recording came up with a bunch of voices and screams and screeches of a bunch of people and a loud voice yelling something in the background. They believed they recorded the sounds and demons of hell. Has anybody else ever heard of this?

Hadn't heard but sounds like a great story!

Personally, I don't think Hell is a physical place in this world, much less under our feet.

Toxic Flood
Doesn't sound like anything special, it could easily be duplicated by alot of people screaming and yelling in an echoey room.

The Truth:
This is the combination of an urban legend and a hoax. The original story of the deep hole drilling in Siberia made the rounds of tabloid newspapers in the early 1990's. Some researchers have theorized that the story somehow got started from an authentic deep hole drilling project, but that has never been proven. That original story included the account of breaking through the crust, hearing the voices from the hole, and shutting down the drilling operation. The plot thickened when a Norwegian school teacher named Age Rendalen decided to embellish the story with the description of the bat-like creature coming out of the hole. He did it purposely to see whether a religious television program would accept the story at face value without checking it out, and they did. TruthOrFiction.com has first-hand information from Mr. Rendalen.

Not only did the "religious television program" fall for it, but thousands (millions?) of people on the net... The various recordings you will find appeared well after the supposed event. Snopes agrees that it is false. According to them, even Christian publications attempted to debunk the story, to no avail:

QUOTE
In the spring of 1990, the legend as we now know it appeared in both Praise The Lord (February) and Midnight Cry (April). Debunkings of it showed up in Christianity Today (July) and Biblical Archaeology Review (November). Even so, the Weekly World News ran the story in 1992, this time setting it in Alaska and claiming thirteen oil rig workers were killed when the Devil came roaring up out of the ground.
