pull down your pants, ram your head down the loo and flush it three times reciting the opening speech from star trek backwards.....

I think the request was genuine, actually, Blood Angel.

Thanks Blood Angel but you see i don't find this quite funny. When a close person dies and you want to have contact with that person, it is really not a funny matter.

Echidna ~ I lost my mum to cancer and I tried and tired to make contact with her, and clung to the belief that I could talk to her to see if she was out of pain......but it's never happened. That's why my beliefs have turned up-side-down.
Please try to carry on and remember that by keeping their memory alive, you carry them with you forever.
I'm sure Blood Angel meant no harm.

i think you can contact ghosts through the Ouija Board..

I think that is great advice Hammy
Echidna, I totally understand why you want to contact your loved one, I have often been tempted to consult a medium to contact my Gran who died 4 years ago. The reason I have decided not to do it is quite simple........there are way too many frauds out there waiting to take your money for nothing. I personally think that is not worth the risk of having some charlatan takin advantage of your grief to make a fast buck.
Like Hammy says, cherish your memories and if you do believe in an afterlife, talk to them anyway because they will hear you without the aid of a go-between.

Indeed i ment no harm, just a bit of humor, in my experience dead family members look for you not the other way around. My father died 6 years ago, and after his death we began to experience paranormal events we did not want, especially when a person gets injured. If you are going to 'try' and contact ghosts/spirits then exercise caution.

im sorry for your loss, but if i was you id allow them to contact you in there own time, other than that a spiritulist church is a good place too attend regularly, but dont become disheartend if they dont have any msgs to give you. the 1 i used to go too didnt charge, but simply asked for a small donation at the end, which i think is fair enough and your less likely to get a penny pinching fraud (is just my experience)
