Has anyone ever heard of ghosts, demons, or anything that draw off images in a persons mind? Like for example mess with someone based on what they are afraid of? I was just thinking that it wouldn't be that farfetched since I've heard of poltergeists and demons calling for ppl in the voice of someone they are close to when that person isn't around.

I was just talking about this very subject with a friend yesturday!

We were discussing the way that Poltergiests appear as stereotypical images (monks, small children etc).
I read a fantastic book some years ago (but stupidly lent to someone who never returned it disgust.gif ), full of various experiences from priests involved in exorcisms. One particular chapter dealt with the subject of spirits and demons appearing to the priests in different shapes and forms. One priest saw a hideous octopuss-like creature, but another who was with him during the exorcism saw a huge spider..........

Do you know, I was going to say that but I didn't want to rob you of some whingeing time....... wink2.gif

Would I see a giant Nissan Micra complete with doddering old toss-pot in a flat cap behind the wheel?

I don't know what Teddy sees in her, I really don't. tongue.gif

Actually, in all seriousness, I'm coming round to Hammy's way of thinking about demons taking on different images. It would explain their classical, biblical appearance on so many occasions.
