Hi,

Whenever it's someone's birthday, I search for balloons from Google Images and then try and copy & paste......

It doesn't work because I think the image is too big......How do I decrease the size and is it correct to copy & paste ??

Or is there another way ???

Thanks............ original.gif

You need to post the link to the image file inside image tags like this:
CODE
[IMG]http://www.site.com/image.jpg[/IMG]

Simply copying and pasting the actual image won't work.

What you've posted above is a link to Google's search results for balloons, you need the URL of the actual image file you want to use and then use [IMG] tags rather than link tags.

The link to the image file will end with a .jpg or .gif extension for example. To get that go to the page the image is on, right click on the image, select 'properties' and copy and paste the image link.

The second image on there for instance is:
http://www.brizweb.com/games/mathschallenge/balloons.gif

So to add it to your post you'd add this:
CODE
[IMG]http://www.brizweb.com/games/mathschallenge/balloons.gif[/IMG]
Raptor
1. When you find an image you want on google, click it so you open it up in to it's own window and you
have some thing like this. <-- Click

2. Now you see the address at the top of the page which says "http://www.brizweb.com/games/mathschallenge/balloons.gif"? Copy and paste that address in to your post.

3. Now so the computer recognizes that you're posting an image, you have to add [IMG*] at the begining of the address, and [/IMG*] to the end.

So it'll look like this: [IMG*]http://www.brizweb.com/games/mathschallenge/balloons.gif[/IMG*].

Hope that made sense. thumbsup.gif

Note: Just don't include the *'s. I only added them to break the code, so the computer doesn't try to post an image.
