So, in the spirit of that ideal let us take this opportunity,when a forum just next door can become quite hostile in the name of faith, create benevolence from within ourselves, and in the spirit of gifting that to someone else.

Or compliment something you appreciate about them, knowing them on board. This is our opportunity to create the faith in one another as good people, by sharing our goodness with one another.

This week in more than one thread I saw a side of GW I really liked and respected.

While we have our differences, you do tend to stand up for the truly oppressed. You stand firmly on human rights, childrens rights and believe strongly in education.

These are all great qualities made even greater by the fact that you never waver on these issues. Your consistency and dedication to these issues is truly a gift.

and here I was readying the fire and brimstone for some good ol' fashioned razing. darn it.

I pick Kratos. Even though we don't agree on some things, don't ever lose that fighting spirit.

He was the first Mod I connected with and admire his sense of decency and honesty and is a True Beaut Aussie bloke.......

I choose Jor-el. Although I just recently connected with him in the role playing thread, I respect his thoughtful nature and intelligence and careful consideration of different POV's.

I pick (big suprise) Brave New World. He was the first to offer me friendship here which I truly appreciate, I find his posts genuine, funny, thought provoking, suprising and always entertaining.

What a mind! What a heart! I think you are one of the most intelligent and logical people I've had the privilege to read in these forums. You're sense of self, the peace of mind that attends that knowledge, becomes a wisdom that you have no problem sharing with others on these boards. When things get heated, there you are, lending an even keel , a balanced insight and a calm to the turmoil.

I own a book on tape titled, If You Meet The Buddha on the Road , Kill him! So titled, because Buddhism isn't about claiming to be like the Buddha. Rather, it's a sense of that inward nirvana, that connection with the source of knowing that relates itself to each one of us intimately, making us all our unique representation of Buddha nature. Well, I believe you embody everything that philosophy imparts. And each time I see your SN on the main menu, as one of the last replies to a thread, I go in even if I'm not invested in the subject, just to read what you have to say. There are a great many people that front, in forums. Pretending to be someone they are not. Adopting multiple Screen Names (SN) to play devils advocate and stir trouble, etc... And realizing this is the Internet, where anything is possible, it is my opinion that in real life you walk the talk you share here. And for that I think the world is lucky to have you living in your particular corner of it. Because I know we at UM, in my opinion, are certainly lucky to have you here. There are a lot of great people here in UM, people I completely agree with and people who I can't seem to agree with on even one issue, but I would have to pick Demonic Presence.

When I first came into UM he and I clashed violently both in the forums and in chat. But after we actually took the time to listen to each other we learned we actually agreed on some things and that we were both willing to learn. He taught me more about Satanists in a few weeks than I had learned in all my years before. I was happy to hear his baby was born and she was fine, but I miss not talking to him. I find him to be straight forward and funny.

In which case, I can tell you're a big fan of spandex and red.
