Well. As some of you know my father is quite unwell and that has finally come to a head. A few days ago the Doc told us he would be unlikely to live more then a few weeks from now.

As a result of this I am not going to be on the site here for quite a time. I wish to spend as much time with my father as possible and after woulds it will be necessary to do what I can to help my mother and brothers get by.

Thus I am saying farewell to all my great friends on UM but I will return in time. I thank you for the solace that some of you have given in what has been quite a hard time for me.

Having a place like this to rant and let off steam has helped me no end. As mentioned I will do my best to find my way back here in time but until then Farewell to everyone.

I lost my ol man(car crash 99/00) all i can say is be strong for yourself & family your mum more so. I guess it's times like this that really tests our faith in what ever we believe in, so head up stay focused & move on forward, looking back is there to reminisce on good times only
We're all just passing thru in this life champ, i'd say the eternal is waiting on the other side.

I'm sorry to hear about your father my best wishes are with you and your family.

After what seemed to be a recovery my father has had a relapse.

He is currently in hospital and it seems he won't be leaving. His kidneys and liver just shut down almost completely and it seems to me that he is not much longer for this world.

After what seemed to be a remarkabel recovery my father went into shock yesterday and while he is concious it doesn't seem he will be with us for much longer.

That said I would like to say that I will not be around at all until I can get everything sorted and that might well be a month or more.

So to all my friends here I would like to say good bye and I shall see you later.

I'm very sorry to hear about your father WG. This must be a very hard time for you. My father just lost his father recently. It made me think about how much I love him and how much we should cherish every moment we have with the ones we love. You are lucky to have this time with him. I can tell he is a good man because, from the posts I have seen, he has raised a good son. Stay strong. Hope to see you back soon.
