I asked myself all those question when I was 14-15, and then came to a conclusion that a higher power is improbable and rather silly.

i'm shocked at your inability to follow conversation...

i wasn't debating about evolution... i was asking you how a belief in a Creator can go hand in hand with evolution when you study the theory of evolution in depth....

but i guess you have't thought it through that far... disgust.gif

We volunteer information about our beliefs here... it's a choice. I choose not to discuss this with you.

And for the record, having a conversation isn't bashing someone else over the head with your own opinion until they give in. no.gif The previous sentence should give you some idea of why I choose not to discuss this matter with you.

the question yes the answer no...thinking is a thought in action..not everyone on this planet has sit and dwelt upon an answer.

yep, lets go down that road... until you ask those people if they ever thought about it... it remains your OPINION... not a FACT.... yes.gif

Just as this question of yours is one all people ask themselfs is an OPINION of yours.

I sense you want me to prove and make fact that not all people aks this question and its frankly so silly to ask that I chose to drop further discussion here. believe what you want sir yes.gif

QUOTE
what about when you have someone that is a complete ATHEIST who has an experience that convinces him/her that there is something more to this thing we call life...

I am going to be glad for him/her, that he/she found the path that fit them the best. As for judging the validity of his/her experience, not being an integral part of the experience, I can not really judge, only give an opinion based on past experience and a very small knowledge of the human condition.

QUOTE
but what if all the religions have it right?

In many ways I would believe that…each of us have the right path for us.

QUOTE
but my point is... maybe everyone has it all right as far as spiritual experiences go... but maybe where we have it wrong is exactly how we get to heaven... that where the major difference seems to come into play...

Maybe, but that is an awfully big maybe…then again, maybe we all have it totally right, each following our own path. Then again maybe everyone but the Zuni tribe of North America have it wrong. Until the Creator decides to appear to us all simultaneously and give us the full instructions of what he want – We will just have to guess and follow our own paths. yes.gif

And have you asked everyone if they have thought of these questions? If not, then your stating that everyone has is also only opinion...not "fact".

Too,those who believe in a Creator, yet do not believe in the biblical account of Genesis, may believe that the "Big Bang" may have been just one of the pieces of creation...so "evolution" and religion are not seen as mutually exclusive in this context.
