Okay, if you are reading this, and it's daytime, stare at the sky. Do you see clear lines with dots that seem to be falling down your eyesight? If not, I must be insane. If you see them, does anybody know what they are? They are not something that is temporarily happening. Is it something that your eyes just do?

Oh yeah its, those lines with dots that are in the sky. I usually see them when i'm at school staring out the window. They move around in a downward motion, and when you stare at them they dissappear. My guess is that it has something to do with the sun's rays.
St Q
Do you mean floaters?

I agree with the "floaters" concept here. What happens is that you have tears that float down your eyeballs as they coat them to keep them moist. These can seem to be lines or sometimes white dots. There is also a second item that is known to produce mini flashes of light called Neutrino particles. These are produced from the Sun's rays. They can make you see little light dots that flash. Although most of our atmosphere filters out Neutrino particles, some do get through on occasion if all of the conditions allow for it to take place. If what you are seeing is not able to fit into these "molds" then you are seeing something strange that would have to be investigated further. My gut reaction is that you are experiencing "floaters" though. Hope this helps somewhat. Glad you brought it up!

Floaters for sure. Happens all the time. My ophthalmologist asked if I saw many, as I have a bit of retinal material missing (like an erosion) and he suspected I may have seen more than usual at some point in my life.

those have to do with the eye and or vision - 100%. the best person to ask other than an regular eye doctor would be a neuro ophthalmologist.

I have floaters in my left eye . Mostly they are spots, brownish gray like the focus dot one 35 mm camera eyepeices. Mine main one bounces around like the follow the bouncing ball cartoons. They are more prominent when looking at lighter backgrounds, if it bothers you try dark sunglasses, I dont go anywhere without them.

I've had some floaters in both eyes since I was about 12. My eye doc saw them and they are fading like he said they would. However, when I look at the sky I see small orbs that move with my eyes and when my eyes are still, they slowly fall. Since they are moving with my eyes I believe that I'm not seeing anything in the sky, but something in my eyes, perhaps similar to floaters. I also see tiny balls of light that swirl and dance, that get bigger as they get closer and get smaller as they get further away. They have directional tails as well. I've seen them as long I can remember. Anyone see stuff like that?
