Thats very misleading, as those lists change every few hours and are always heavily influenced by game releases and news. When GTA IV is eventually released the top 10 will have just about every GTA game ever made in it for a few days. Anyway with over 1 million copies pre-ordered over in the US its definately going to make large sums of money and top sales charts across the globe. Down under there are over 50,000 copies pre-ordered and many more will just turn up on Tuesday.

The first thing im doing is playing the rest of the story and finally finishing the fight.

So Halo 3 turned out to be a pretty fun game. I started on Heroic though, and I couldn't even get past the first mission, haha. This game is going to give me quite a challenge, and should keep me coming back months and months later.

I haven't touched forge as yet..... Have played a bit on multiplayer, have played the campaign in drips and dabs (damn work interrupting my day).... I love it so far, and...I think its far more difficult then the last two... I could walk through the last two on normal difficulty half asleep... this one, I have to think about what Im doing....

Omg.. halo 3 roooooooooocks!!! It's so awesome.. the new weapons make it so much fun. My friend beat me on all those new maps but I beat him on good ol' Zanzibar. Haha, this will is the game of all games.

I highly doubt Halo Wars is going to be the last we see of the Halo universe. I'd like to see another game since I'm not at all interested Halo Wars.

I'm sure for people who enjoy RTS games, it will be very fun. But I've never cared much for those, except for the C&C series.

Peter Jackson and his new development team are already working on a new Halo project. Don't really know anything about it apart from that, and that it is going to be released in different episodes, rather than a single game at once. I guess the idea is that you download it through the marketplace and different chapters will be released over a few weeks or months?

Well I got Halo 3 on Friday, it's definetely my favourite of the trilogy. I haven't played much of the matchmaking, but I finished the campaign on Legendary and it was awesome.

I thought the movie was never going to come out,I just hope that its not rushed and that it turns out to be a good flick to watch.

I have already played this more then I probably played halo 2 online.... since ive had it less then a week, that says a lot about its playability.

From the reviews I`ve read the single player campaign at least on Normal last's only around 6 hours. Is this true and as fans of all three games do you find it a satisfactory length, allowing for the story to be appropriately concluded? I`m simply curious to hear what Halo fans think of the single player campaign. I dont own a x-box or 360 however I have played Halo 1 & 2 multiplayer and immensly enjoyed myself however I personally enjoy single player far more than multi-player, so as I`m potentially purchasing a 360 next year to go with my Wii, does the single player campaign justify purchase of Halo 3?

It depends....I would probably play the single player by myself once I had completed it.... I think it is quite enjoyable, with enough varying gameplay and AI that I would still enjoy it.... However, the fact you can play the campaign with a couple of friends... means I will probably play it over and over again, like I did on halo 2 and 1 on split screen with a friend lol.

I couldn't really care how long it is, as long as it has replay value. I finished one of the metal gear solid games a few years back in 5 hours... and it had no replay ability, so I took it back the same day. This one is nowhere near that....

I like single player and multi player equally since both are very entertaining.

I'd say on normal it is about 9 levels, and the levels are for the most part pretty long. Save the second to last level, they're all really fun to play. 4 player co-op FTW.

Well half of those levels were ok,I wish some were a little better (design wise ) like flood gate,ect.

All were spectacular IMO, cept Cortana.

Well, the thing is, that most fans of halo, bought the retail version the same day, and ran it thru the same day.

If there's a forth halo comming out, then i sincerly hopes that they make it longer, so u get sucked into the world more, bcus if they make a game with 20hours gameplay(2.2times more then its now) then more ppl would probly be satisfied when they finnish it.

Imo to short, they focused to much on online gaming, which is good, but just as i said, twice the gameplay and most ppl would be satisifed, bcus then they would feel like the ending was something they pushed for, not something that they like(ohh well, got lots of energy left, it feels abit short..)

Nope,I never beat any of them on legendary.Im only skilled enough to beat it on heroic.

It doesn't take skill, just a lot of patience.

I'm still waiting on some people to play a Legendary co-op game with me, seeing as I don't have any patience to do it on my own.

I'll do it, dont know about anyone else though.

I just played a few games of Infection last night, it's great! 10x better than Zombies on Halo 2.

We were playing on a variant of Last Resort (Zanzibar) called Last Stand, made in the forge. The base was entirely barricaded up and there were makeshift outposts spotted around the place but the only ammo was right in the center, on the big wheel. So you'd be struggling to fight off the hordes of zombies at your outpost but you're relatively safe, then once the ammo begins to run out you'll have to make your way across the map with a team mate and watch each others' back, to bring back more ammo for your team.

The moments when you're last man standing and you're being pushed further and further back in to a corner while fighting off a constant stream of zombies with whatever weapon you have left are amazing.

The forge changes everything.
