Or UK customers for that matter. I can picture it:
"Oi Fred, we've got a group of jokers 'ere. Claim they've been to the moon. Is that in the European Union or not? Ok Mr Armstrong, turnout your pockets. 'Allo whats this then? Moon dust? Do I look like I was born yesterday? Take this to forensics Fred. You three get in the cubicles and take you clothes off, I'll show you one small step for a man you'll never forget."
Indeed, quite the scenario you paint there ol' chap!
Good thing they didn't land in the U.K. on the way back home!
On second thought, the idea of getting out of those BIGs quickly probably would've appealed to the men. No waiting for the chopper, all that time getting to the ship and below decks, and finally, getting in the MQF and stripping out of those hot, nasty things they had to wear. U.K. customs would've stripped them straight away, and they'd have felt better quicker....up to a point, of course!
