I read about a correlation between haunted area and fluctuating magnetic field. So, do you know what kind of fluctuation we are dealing with here? Like how strong is it, and what kind of fluctuation (eg the waveform). It sounds very promising to me, but i'm not sure if it's real or just a hoax. Unfortunately I don't know any haunted house arround to try it myself

It is considered by many that ghosts are made up of something that distorts a magnetic feild . Its very interesting as a psion can sense ghosts .

I bet your local cemetary would be a great place to try out the magnetic fields. There's always/usually hauntings. When I was getting all my equip ready for my haunted house experience I was told to bring a compass. And that when it starts going wacky, to take photos or make sure the cameracorder was on. When we were in that house I can't say that it really did anything though. Of course I never took it into the prominent part where I found all the orbs on my corder.

Wacky compass? Then the magnetic field should be pretty strong to make it happen. I think a wacky compass is an indication that you are walking too close to an AC power line. Anyway.. did you really find orbs?

Anybody here ever try to use magnetic viewing film for ghost hunting? I think it might help a lot if we can figure out the shape of the magnetic field.

I've heard that before. About ghosts and magnetic fields. That's why things don't work around them. THink about haunted places though, does equipment always mess up when someone goes there?

i saw this programme once, and people were taken into these dungeons and laft alone in rooms that were said to be haunted. they were being monitored on cameras and microphones and there was equipment for measuring the magnetic field.
the people that said they felt/heard/saw things had a very high magnetic field in their room.
i think they also did an experiment by creating a strong magnetic field and seeing if people felt anything, i may just be creating somthing in my mind though, lol, but im sure they did. the image i have in my mind is that people did feel things, like brushing against their legs, or hands etc

OK, so ghosts and magnetic field correlation is a well known fact. But what kind of magnetic field are we dealing with here? If it is just a simple strong fluctuating magnetic field then I can say that all high voltage AC power lines are haunted. Also I stored a bunch of Neodymium magnets in my room (waiting for virtual ghost experiment), but my apartment is definitely not haunted. Anybody knows what kind of magnitude and the pattern of the fluctuation?

Also if there is magnetic field, I expect to see electric field as well, or maybe electromagnetic waves, because they usualy comes together. Also it is usualy easier to measure electric fields rather than magnetic fields. Some devices can actually detect the electric field from human presence. So do people actually tried to measure the electric field instead of magnetic?
