Ok, first let me start by saying that I am fairly new to Unexplained-Mysteries.
Now that that's over with, I can get to the actual topic of this post.
Lately, I have been experiencing some mild paranormal activity. By mild, I refer to the plainly strange, and not at all violent. What I have been experiencing is the following:
When I was folding the clothes in the drying room, everything was quiet. Then I heard talking and laughter coming from the room next door. A second ago, all was quiet and the room was as I left it. The next moment, the television was on (which is where the talking/laughter was coming from). I thought that was pretty strange, because our TV's have never done that before. No one but me was at home at the time, so the possiblility that it might have been someone in the room is ruled out. Also, I didn't see anyone coming, so the possibility of it being an unwanted stranger is also ruled out. I'm 100% sure that the TV was off moments ago because the drying room is next to the bedroom in which the TV turned on by itself.
The next piece of paranormal activity is a little less alarming. It consisted of a door opening by itself. It was my closet door, to be more specific. I did not think much of it at the moment, nor do I do now. The television is my main focus in this post. If anyone has anything with substance to contribute, I would like to hear it. Thank you very much for your attention and have a good day! ^___^
Did these things happening give you the creeps, were you scared to go into the room where the television is?
If your TV were on standby mode instead of actually turned off, maybe a big surge of electricity could have inadvertently turned it on (I don't really know if that is possible though). It is so hard to try to give any possible explanations without frightening you lol.
There are some beings that will do things to fascinate and they like to make an impact. Mischievious spirits will take great delight in frightening people but have no intentions of doing anything else.
When I was 17, I was sitting on a sofa with my boyfriend, we were watching TV, suddenly out of my right temple I felt a strange pull and as I looked to my right, a cane which was standing in the corner of the window was floating about six inches off the floor. I let out a gasp and jumped up, my boyfriend was like, "what the heck!".
Now he got frightened, I was fascinated, it floated there right in front of us and because I was not scared I placed my hands beneath and around the cane - still it floated. My boyfriend was, by now, pooping himself, I grabbed the cane and put it back into the corner.
Naive as I was I wanted to stay there to see if anything else happened, he wanted to run out of the house. We ended up doing the latter.
Sometimes excess mental energy can escape and do random things, if it frightens you it is not good. If you ignore it and it is some mischievious being, it should stop.
Hopefully there is a logical explanation (such as a stray cat in your closet lol)
