hey ya'll...ok, so first i'll tell you about me: my mom raised me as a spiritualist from the time i was little, and my dad (their divorced) raised me catholic when i was with him...but the part i think affected me the most was the spiritualist stuff...my mom taught me to read palms and contact spirits for guidance, things i (and she, praise God) know now are very very dangerous...but i feel that because of it, i have very strong feelings when spirits are present....eventually, my dad got custody of me, so i had to move out of state, and became offically a christian...

when i was sixteen, my dad died of Lou Gerhigs disease, so i was adopted and live with my adoptive family...and the house is scary...so our house history: it is about 200 years old, and has had many many families living in it over the years...i know that in the 50's a family living there had a little boy who tried to follow his mom across the street one day and got hit by a car and killed...i'm not sure about others who have died there or any possible occult activity they may have been involved in.

What i do know is, though, that ever since i've lived there, it's scary. Ever since i was a child i've been very susceptable to supernatural activity, and i've always had a very keen perception of evil...anyways, alot of wierd stuff has happened in this house...one night i was up late and at the computer...i got this wierd feeling to look up...i did and in the doorway, near the top of the doorframe, there was a cloud of what looked like blue cigarette smoke...it hovered then spiraled up towards the ceiling and disapeared...also, when i stand at the top of our stairs to our cellar (the oldest part of the house that i NEVER venture down to...very bad vibes) and i can hear voices coming from there...always not understandable, but judging by the pitch and tones, it's english...when i start to pray, it disapears....but i hear it anytime i stand near those stairs...it's just a very scary house when you're alone, or even when you're not alone and its nightime...

after my dad died, i was plagued by dreams for quite awhile...in all of them, i'd be somewhere (say the grocery) and i'd get a feeling someone was watchign me...i'd look over and my dad would be standing there, just staring at me...this all occured in this old house...

now i'm at college, and i still can feel those perceptions...and this campus has plenty of spiritual warfare, as it is a christian college...i guess i'm wondering if spirits can sense my perceptiveness the same way i sense them (and i REALLY dont want to but i feel liek it's something i'm stuck with because of doors my mom opened in me as a child)

Well you definitely sound like you've had an interesting childhood......I would say that you probably are very sensitive and intuitive when it comes to all things spiritual especially because of your mum's influence....

If there was something in the house, you would most likely pick up on it and see/sense it......Do you still live there ?? Have you sensed spirits anywhere else or just that house ??

oh definitely, interesting is a perfect word for it...and yes, i can sense things in the house...it's like this chilly feeling and this like prescence...and i've definitly seen things, like the blue smoke...

i'm not living there right now, i'm at college about 10 minutes away...i thought that being away would make me stop sensing things, but it hasnt...this campus is full of prescences

Tell me, when you say "spirits" - do you believe in ghosts or demons?

the "spirits" do pick up on those who seem to be tuned in...not sure exactly how or why...these spirits are after anyone they can get and they use whatever means they can including "familiar spirits"....don't let them play with you...cast them off and stay strong in the Lord...everyone is a target but to tear down a believer is like extra points to satan....fight the good fight.

You need to stay fast in prayer and not encourage any contact or respond to it, that only makes it stronger. They are all demons, acting as good spirits some of them, too fool you. Yes I understand about windows and doors being opened as a child, it happened to me. I would talk to the spiritual leader or a counclor at the school you are in, they should be gifted in helping you with this. If one puts you off because he doesn't believe you, then go to another. He could also set you up with a blessing or exorcism for your old house and dorm. You don't have to be catholic or have a catholic priest do it. My Husband went to a christian school when he was a teen, there was someone in his class that was possessed. The pastors had to take care of this, I guess it took alot of people to detain her for the exocism. She could make it from one end of the building, a long one, in just a few seconds, he seen it happen. There was more stuff but he didn't go into detail. I had a christian friend who we were convinced was possessed(our other friend and I) now I don't know if it was a case of MPD or DID. It was resolved after she prayed alot, and had a breakthrough with God, so she said. After that she never talked like she did during that time, which was talking the opposite what she was really like, evil with destruction of her in mind, doing things she would have never done before
