everyone has nightmares but this is something that's odd..

Since I was very little I've had nightmares , nasty ones , the type that force you to wake up screaming.
sounds unlucky but pretty normal. Well, I've had a set of dreams that were very similar (Ones that I'd rather not go in to the details of) and always have the same "monster". He is always faceless , always very human , always male and has a voice that I cannot place . A voice that's only his , one I've heard no where else . Any ideas on why this is or how , because from what I've found most of the time when you hear a voice in your dreams it is at very least familier , but this one is unique to this "monster" .

That sounds like a nightmare I had once everything was normal then everything stopped and there was a bad feeling and I heard a voice laughing. Then I woke up.

I had the same thing wen i was little , but they didnt have voices or did they?

Problem is I'm still having them & they really get to me . I know the laughing , It really freaks me out

any details as to what this "monster" looked like other then faceless and human like? and what does the voice sound like? if you aren't comfortable posting on here you can always pm me

This reminds me of a demon that has been plaguing my friend since she was little.

Is he large? Like.. heavy/muscular? Do you feel pain in these dreams?

In my dreams I sometimes hear a robotic voice that scares me alot for no apparent reason... But it's rare.

Well I don't know, maybe you have heard this voice in your early childhood. You don't remember it now, but maybe something bad happened along with that voice. Someone who had that voice harmed you, or simply scared you. Or is this voice unfamiliar because it's not even human, I mean, uncomparable with anything?
Or maybe things he says matter more?

The only reason I can think of, is when you were little, something scared you, like a scary movie with a monster or an imaginary monster. You might have the idea of the monster stuck in your brain, and something that happens during yor day will stimulate your nightmare.

In the dream, you should try and find the monster, like seek it out. I don't know hwo to do this though,. You have to think very hard about identifyingn it before you go to sleep I guess.
