Full Version: Pterodactyl Caught on Film!
I think it was a fake, but when the pterodactyl swooped down it scared the crap out of me.
The guy holding the camera doesn't think to center on the pterodactyl while it's flying up, but instead lets it go out of sight, then the pterodactyl conveniently swoops down past the camera.
Conveniently cinematic, eh.

why the cam doesnt follow that 'pterodactyl' ? why that ptero flying down to that guy ? why ??
Looks like it's from a show we had over here called Primeval.

lol that is literally fake. That has to be the fakest video I've ever seen with no chance at all of being real. I don't even need to prove it wrong with critical analysis but simply because the pterodactyl follows the shaking of the camera, which means when the camera shakes, the pterodactyl moves parallel to it, and another is that there are no light or filtering effects of blur or low-resolution that the rest of the picture shows.
Looked like a total CG pterodactyl to me. Especially when it swoops at the camera and we hear an actress scream.
I think there's a 99% chance this is fake.

That's what I hear, over here in Oz, we only have bunyips, and they are not very fast out of the water so it's easy to get away from them, it's just the drop bears you have to watch. They can even arrive in taxis.

I'm more inclined to think of birds... since crocodiles are only very distantly related to perhaps common ancestors of dinosaurs. So the next time you're chasing crows or feeding some birds in a local park, those are just really small T.rexes (or Charcarodontosaurus/Spinosaurus, whichever you prefer)~
