Hmmmm, not too sure wat I'm supposed to see here. Is it the ghost that is supposedly covered in cotton ?.........if so, how do we know that it is not just cotton in a bottle?

Also, are the close ups supposed to show features ?

Obviously a scam. How would a piece of glass hold a ghost? rolleyes.gif

Firefly? Luminescent material? Dunno....

Not a ghost, though.

berjaya menangkap hantu langsuir yang berteduh dalam gumpalan kekabu.
I don't get it

Hantu ini akan dibuang ke laut!
Will throw the ghost away to the sea?

Diperkatakan hantu ini boleh berubah bentuk dan wajah bila berada di luar.
The ghost can change form outside the bottle?

It looks like a geenie for me. A geenie in a bottle. Can I have 3 wishes? tongue.gif

hehe, that's because the ghost theory in South East Asia is different than Europe. It is a common "practice" among the ghost hunters in the area to capture ghosts in a bottle, then release it somewhere else (usualy to the sea or jungle). They usualy provide the service to remove poltergeist from haunted houses. In Europe it is the living people that usualy abandon the house. In US people will just bless the house and kick the poor ghosts away by force. I think I'm going to move to an old mansion in Europe after my death wink2.gif

Never realised there was a cultural difference in ghost theories. The idea of trapping a ghost turn a lot of 'western' ideas on their heads, particularly about ghost being tied somehow to a particular location.

Out of interest after these ghosts have been transported to the jungle are there any incidents of the haunting reoccuring?

And that's quoting an expert.

Technical terms aside, I'm afraid I don't believe in medicine men. They're showmen. Scam-merchants. Uri Gellar.
