Earth Day 2007 We have mulching blades on our lawn mower, so today we mowed our lawn for the first time, in the new season. And are planting flowers for a new Bee Hives project we'll initiate near the forest that surrounds our home.
We watched Real Time with Bill Maher recently and in his closing he said the worlds Bee's are dying. And that means a compromise in the natural pollination of many of our food crops, and other pollen dependent species like wild herbs, wild flowers and much more. And also what's disrupting Bee population are cell phones. Who's electromagnetic fields disrupt Bee navigation, confusing them and knocking them out of the air. So they're not able to pollinate in high traffic area's or cell tower cites. A visual, along with electric lines, that span the horizon of most major population area's, growing more expansive by the year.
So we're going to raise Bee's, starting small with just two hives starting before mid-summer. It's not that populated here as yet, so it may help make a difference, for awhile.

Every Day is Earth Day. What are you doing to save your life, here!?
