Deist and thought forms (deity thought forms/constructs)

What do think is the possibility that Deist ate correct in the idea that “the Creator” made the whole ball of wax and then sat back to watch the show, so to speak. And then along come the monkeys with to much free time and over time using a collective energy made their gods to suit the needs and desires of the monkeys. As these thought forms grew in power, from conversion to a specific belief system, the same monkeys realized that there was an angle to become more influential than before so the peddling of religion began.
As these various belief system grew stronger the business of religion to precedence over the “faith”. Forced conversations made for more followers and a stronger “god”. Comments? Thoughts?

Oh this is not imply that Desist use thought forms, and I am forced to admit I am not an expert on Deist.

I have no trouble with the idea that we are thoughtforms of God, the only thing however, is that we were given consciousness which cannot be destroyed, whereas thoughtforms can.

Maybe we are our own thoughtforms, taking on whichever body best suits our purpose.

Erm... why do you refer to monkeys rather than men? I'm a Deist and I don't believe that monkeys created images of gods and collectively conjured up organized religions. I think men did. Unless you're saying that men are monkeys for conjring up images of gods? I'm a bit befuddled by the monkeys. blink.gif

I don't believe we are thought forms of god. I think the OP meant that man made gods are the thought forms of men... that's the way I took it. dontgetit.gif

Sorry I was unclear. Homo Sapients are not the thought forms, the gods are the thought forms.

Well, as a 3rd generation Deist, it is my belief (based on observation of the universe and history) the Creator did indeed create the "whole ball of wax", granted us true free will and then sat back and watched. To interfere with us would negate our "free will". yes.gif

I like that idea. Maybe that is similar to what people claim to experience in Astral Travel . And how about lucid dreaming or the technique of Remote Viewing, which I find intriguing in itself. Maybe that's what's going on. Channeling consciousness at will. And that may be related to that technique explained in the new book, The Secret, about willfully drawing energies, things, into one's life. Creative Visualization, if you will.
