I saw this image when I was younger, but now I can't seem to be able to describe it OR remember what caused it.

It was a picture of a shore, and then off the shore was trees... and it looked like a huge somethingorother emerged from the water and made a huge clearing in the trees (a snake? monster?)...

Anybody have any recollection of such an image?

any more details? can you describe this something or other at all? when you say image do you mean in your imagination? on tv? newspapers?

It sounds familiar. You should check this site's Image Gallery. I know they have tons of pictures of cryptozoological creatures, including Nessie. It might be in there.

I think I know what you mean. A big flattened area where some huge creature slid through the grass to the water. I think it was in africa and was not so extraordinary. A very large Nile Crocodile, such as the famous man-eater Gustave, reliably reported at over 20 feet long could leave a belly imprint five feet across, and weighting well over a ton, could certainly flatten all of the grass, brush and branches underneath it.

No I remember seeing an image of it on another Crypto website. I have checked numerous times for this image on various sites but with no luck. I have checked this sites image gallery as well.

i don't think that is the image, that was only from last year i think, and he said he saw it when he was younger, which i'm guessing was atleast 5 years ago? good catch though

Yep that's a bit too long. It was a photograph but scanned onto the internet. It's interesting really, I saw it many time when I was younger but now that I'm interested in Cryptids and such I can't find it anywhere.

Now that I read the whole topic, I really wanna see this picture. I just spend about half hour trying to find it. Can't anyone really find this pic.
