this is my first post here, so i hope its ok ... i thought the UFO pictures would be cool to share, dunno could just be me though heh (P

So, is it the light on the right corner of the picture that is suppsoe to be a UFO?

I'm not really sure what that thing is.

I would have to say my personal concern w/the "good doctor" is that there is a serious strong note of "New Age Spirituality" in his dialogs w/UFO's and Aliens.

I still wonder why some people need to make this field "Spiritual"... that one escapes me.

The picture you posted is of a "rod". that is by far the best one i have seen. It is so close to the camera and you can see it in great detail. Well done, where did you get it? Those things have never been proven to be insects. They have been captured on film as long as 100ft and travelling over 1000mph! I saw a great video of a huge one flying over the top of a mountain, they only show up for a few frames as they move sooooo fast and are invisible to the naked eye. Apparently they show up on many home videos, all you have to do is pause the video and use the frame advance to view 1 frame at a time. They are bound to show up. Oh and i saw a good video of base jumpers at swallows cave where they were surrounded by hundreds of the critters.

Considering we are the singlemost destructive species on the face of the planet, taking a more spiritual approach to the phenomenon seems just right in my opinion. Don't worry, there's enough rationalists within the field to provide balance and help us avoid another irrational wingnut pandemonium.

Ah - but in this area of focus:

My understanding is that the "rods" are actually moths/bugs that are caught flapping their little wings several times on a single frame of the tape giving the long stretched out look; which I think is why digital cameras never get the same kind of image.

Im rather underwhelmed. These look more like digital camera artifacts than UFO's. Clean the sensor on the camera. He has gone off the deep end in my opinion. When I first saw him on dislosure, he seemed pretty credible and a good point man for the project. Now he is almost laughable. What ever came out of the disclosure project anyway?

I have to say the more Dr Greer comes out with the less I am impressed with him. The disclosure project seemed encouraging at first but apparently fizzled
out. Now we are left with pictures as lame as anything you could find. It's too bad

Jjbreen, I'm with you on that, but that's just human nature. Admire one person just a bit too much and they'll nearly always think they're a bit larger than themselves. Fortunately, I have a firm belief that Greer's failsafe switch will kick in before it's too late and he'll deftly insert foot in mouth in some manner. And then another clown will take the podium and the monkey show will begin all over again. Tis the way of things for us to make fools of ourselves. It's how we progress and learn.

Agreed on the human nature thing. I fear the "fail safe" is a tad late in kicking in. It should have kicked in about 5-6 years ago. Sigh .... he had a great dream - but it would seem $$ and attention and fame kicked in and as also is human nature - he too lost balance.

I Agree with you also "Jj" He looks like he is trying to be a pimp in the one picture with all the girls around him, the one that has the supposed orb on his chest. I have a feeling he has been just enjoying the fame a bit much and that he is looking for ways to keep himself in the spotlight.

So true! If there were really such animals, they'd have to die and breed at some point, ne? I doubt their eggs would hover in mid-air until they hatch, so they'd have been found by now, sticking to a leaf or such...

Stephen Greer, the one guy who is suppose to prove all you believer right, the guy with so much evidence it will blow the minds of all us "logicals"...and this is all he's got...

Well as i've been a long time "defender" of Greer and the Disclosure project i've got to say how disappointing this is.....I'm gutted to be honest. Greer of all people should know that vague photo's showing lights in the dark and "Rods" just arent goin to "cut it" any more.
If this is the best physical evidence he can present from the 450 or so witnesses ...it's a huge setback for anyone who's tried to defend his position on here or any other sites.
Has he put these out officially or are they just pics someone snapped off around him ?

Agreed - I've had faith in Greer and what he is doing, but this is pitiful. I think he desperatly wants a personal encounter, so desperate he's making stuff up or imagining it.

Everyone is jumping to conclusions here.Did anyone stop for a second and think that maybe someone is trying to ruin his (Dr Greer) image by releasing a photo of him sitting around and what appears to be a rod.It could have been a picture of him with some friends having some fun,after all his only human and is allowed to have some fun.
The Disclosure Project is not a Joke like some of you called and its very much real.

Actually - several people that have been following him have noted his 'downward' fall. Even some 'devout' followers. So could it be - maybe, but based on other sources following close - not likely - Dr. Greer has been taking some 'wrong steps'.
Personally I felt w/one friend that got fed up w/the good Doctor back 2001 - I'm surprised he didn't fall sooner. This friend of mine supported Dr. Greer w/money and time. Then realized he was being scammed. He is seriously pissed off since 2001. Continues to be and is wondering why other's have taken this long to 'wise up'. His complaint back in 2001 was that Dr. Greer was simply telling the same old stories over and over and over. There was NOTHING new coming out. Just 're-hash'
He then realized that if Dr. Greer really even had anything remotely credible, he would be taking it to congress and if not them, the press. But as he puts it - "Jj - I realized all they have is: "I (name of person) has seen a UFO... that's it! There is no disclosure, no insight into if alien - just, "I (name of person) has seen a UFO, something I couldn't ID. Then they tell their UFO story and re-tell and re-tell and re-tell, to the point that you go WTF are they doing?? Taking people's money!" Like I said - He is NOT happy.
He has since found other 'followers/supporters' of Dr. Greer also seeing the same things and realizing - NOTHING IS HAPPENING - THEY HAVE NOTHING! Just a "Talk Show" and sell DVD's to the public. That's it.
