After seeing the Pilot being interviewed and describing the craft i'd be interested to know what "Normal" explanation you could give for it ?

BUT What "secret project could possibly call for two huuuuge craft of this size ? And how secret could you keep these things ....It stands to reason that smaller prototypes would first have been made and if so what have they ever been used for......Even secret flying technology only has a shelf life of 20/30 years as the U2 and Stealth bomber have proven....so what's going on guys

Well, what we do know is what they were seeing was actually there. We have witnesess and radar evidence. Mind you, there are many cases like this. There is no question that these objects are being seen, all over the world. But what they are, we just dont know.

very interesting. for some reason i feel like we're on the edge of something major, but maybe that feeling is just correlating with the increased attention i am able to pay to this topic since joining UM. it's so exciting each time there is another sighting like this by a 'reputable' observer. i had a dream the other night that huge ships were floating low over the area with smaller ships zipping around and cameras with lights pointing around all over. everyone in the dream was hiding in this gas station bugging out. i need to spend less time on this site lol........ nahhhh

I would agree with that. This comment from the original report has me thinking.
"Such light effects are often popularly thought to represent alien visitors but many UFO researchers believe they more likely represent natural, atmospheric, phenomena not yet fully understood by science."
Is it possable that many so called UFO researchers are really part of the cover-up???
I still think we need to trust our own perceptions more than listen to the ???? experts.

I think that anyone listening to the pilot being interviewed can have no doubts that what he saw was a craft and not a lightshow......a light of this size would be even more unlikely than a craft imo.

OVER WATERAlot of UFO's are seen around or over water...
I hope we hear more about this sighting.
Since this was seen on Radar, do you think they will release a statement or what ever like the small bit they did finally give about the UFO seen over the Chicago Airport back in November? Or will it be "swept under the rug" and suppressed from the public as often the case goes with UFO sightings?

I commend the pilot because most pilot UFO encounters go unreported for reasons of job security and fear of ridicule. In 1966, six military pilots from Travis AFB, CA. were interviewed about their UFO encounters and stated that they refused to report their encounters for fear of ridicule.

Dont worry, he knows what he saw and theres not many people around these parts calling him deluded!! As far as I know it was his 'higher ups' that encouraged him to go public...

Not sure who took the pic, but I understnd it was someone on the plane. I just found it searching for more info. If it was someone on the flight I'd assume it was in Alderney.
Yes, I have spoken to Ray, but he didnt elaborate on much more that we already know. He did mention however that soon after he reported his sighting there were 3 military aircraft in the area. Idont know where he got that info, possibly Jersey ATC.

Could very well be. It's highly possible that internal pressures could build and have some electrical discharge effect on the upper atmosphere. I would imagine the affected area could easily be quite large, hence the "mile wide" comment by the pilot.
