There's something I'd like to say about the videos and pics of a supposed Sasquatch that you can easily find on the internet. Most people involved in Sasquatch research dont buy it. I've had people say to me, and reference some crappy clip, that if that's proof, then Sasquatch doesn't exist. We believe in spite of these kinds of "proof" To understand what I'm saying, make a fake clip and post it on The Bigfoot Forums and see how you fare. It will be found out to be a fake. A couple of years ago a clip came out that was of a supposed Sasquatch. It went around the net for awhile, and in the end, it was a hoax created by Penn and Teller for their Showtime show, bull. Thing is, they say on the show that it fooled the Sasquatch community, which just wasn't true, the BFRO jumped on board, and said it was real without doing any kind of investigation, so P&T were more than happy to say that they fooled the leadng Sasquatch research group. Ok, they may have fooled them, but almost everyone else wasn't convinced.
I think you'd be amazed by the lengths people will go to to disprove these kinds of hoaxes. They looked into every, and I do mean EVERY, aspect of that P&T clip. What type of camera that was used, they investigated the guy that supposedly took the film, where it was taken etc. I want people to realize that alot of Sasquatch researchers aren't just looking for the next film clip or picture to get behind and bolster the argument that these things exist. Sure there are some "romantics" out there, but if you really looked into it, I think you be surprised by the level of competence in the Sasquatch community.
Thank you for the post but overall I do not get the point. Are you saying the patterson film is fake and has been proven so? or that it is still not able to be disproven?
