Alright, so let me break it down.
I don't know if these first two things are related or not, but yeah, I'm going to tell you anyways.
So, earlier this week. I think it was on Monday or Tuesday. I was just watching T.V. in the living room with another friend and all of a sudden the T.V. turned off. Now this didn't really scare me but the only thing that turned off in the entire house was this specific T.V., so it was not the power to the house that went out. Now I've had things like this happen with other T.V's beforeso I thought it was just something that was electrical related. So, I didn't think too much of it. I just got up and turned the T.V. monitor back on by pressing the power button on it. Anyways, on Thursday, the same thing happens again. Except this time I keep pressing the power button on the remote and it wouldn't turn on at all. I then just unplugged the the chord to the T.V. that was in the outlet. I then plugged it back in and then it turned back on. So yeah, nothing too much to worry about.
Anyways, here's where the unusual stuff starts happenings. I got up early to go turn off the porch light around 6:00 in the morning (I always leave it on all night by the way). I went to the switch but it was already off. I asked my family member if they had turned it off and they said no. So I was getting dressed this morning and so was another family member in the house. I was in the shower at the time so the other person left to go to work before me like they always do. Anyways, when I was in the shower, I heard like the sound of the pounding of a door. It sounded like it was coming from the back door. For some reason, I didn't go check what it was till after I got out. After all that happened, I hear something, like an unlocking of a door sound, coming from the front door. As soon as this happened, my dog went trotting off to the front door and just stared out the window on the door. She didn't bark or anything. Just stared. I went to the door to go see what was going on. And indeed, the door was unlocked. Now that's when I called the other person on his cell phone and asked him if he locked the door. He assures me he locked the door and was very certain. Note: Starting from the very beginning of me going to turn off the porch light, me and him were the only people in the house at the time when all these things occured.
I'm not going to say this paranormal because I'm not too sure yet. But I also can't seem to find a logical explanation for it.
Any help or thoughts?

well the tv is understandable ours has done something similar, it goes onto standby every now and again , it also changes channels by itself lol, like tonight funniest home videos was on tv and i was bored ( i dont really like that show that much) anyway i was talking to my dad and it changed channels to get away ( travel show) which i do like to watch, and it was even better being the 600th episode and all so all turned out fine lol.
the light im not sure about, so it was turned off at the switch, are you sure you turned it on? and how sure is your friend about locking the door? this could all be a co-incidence but i am somewhat doubt it, unless by chance you forgot to turn on the light and some person broke into your house, but the chances of that all happening at once are practically none , and the thumping you heard on the door isnt very comforting.
if anything else happens post it , good luck

I am %100 percent positive I turned the light switch on because I do it every night. It's sort of like a habbit now to do it.

Yeah, it's the same way with him. He always goes through the front door and locks it every time. He sounded pretty certain about him locking the door. Naw, I don't think anyone could've broken into my house. We have this alarm system and every time someone opens a door or closes it, it makes a beeping sound. The front door itself is very heavy so it makes a pretty loud sound no matter how soft or slowly you try to close it.
And even if he didn't lock the door, ...then why would my dog go directly to the door and just sit and stare there as soon as that sound occured?
Thanks for the comments, though.

It sounds to me like someone or thing wants in. The dark ones are sneaky and try to trick you into giving them permission to enter. I would pray for discernment as to which it is. The Light side may knock also, but in my experience they wait politely without other tricks. Courtesy is one hallmark of the Light. IF you think the dark may have been let in, you can revoke permission, firmly, insistantly, but with good manners. Just for reference.
That the light was turned off tips me that it is the dark wanting in. So if it was me, at the next incident, I would say out loud someting like "no thanks, I'm not interested." May need to be repeated from time to time.

Interesting story you got there. Great explaination as well.
I can understand your television turning on and off, not working, ect. without you controlling it. My Television has done that before. We called in store where we bought it from and they came and looked at it. There was just a few problems with it, electrical issues really. I'd say you don't have to worry about that.
Now, the unlocking of your doors, lound banging noises, and things like your light turning off uncalled for, is a problem. Myself, I would be very scared. Expecially if it is all happening when your not looking or don't expect it. My advice to you is; Double check to make sure if your doors are locked, lights on/off ect. Sometimes I think I lock my door and I look and it is unlocked. We get so used to doing it, we just presume that it had been locked. So double check all of these things, right them down even if you have to. Then, if you notice any changes, you know something is up. I hope this helps solve your problem!

Thanks for the input. I was looking for a couple of more responses, but I'm not complaining.
Anyways, I've always been interested in paranormal activity and stuff like this. If it's a good spirit, or as long as they're not harming anyone, I'm glad for them to come in. I have no problem with that.
But if they're bad, or trying to do harm, then I may need help since I've never had experience with anything paranormal. So if you know any useful strategies then all will be appreciated.
Also, another question I have is that if ghosts can sense fear and that's what some of them feed off of, ... can they also sense it if you don't show any expressions of it? These things have been creepy to me no doubt, but I haven't really shown any fear with my actions. I'm only "scared" or "creeped out" on the inside.
Thanks once again.

Hey datboyfromtexas-
It doesn't sound too paranormal quite yet. Someone either forgot to turn the light on the night before, or they turned it off and forgot about it.. the pounding noise could have possibly been your dog, as the other noise, the Tv- that happens a lot with a lot of folks.. if things like this excells, or becomes unquestionable then I would assume maybe paranormal.. :]

Yeah, I'm not labeling it off as paranormal already. I wanna get the scientific explainations first.
But like I said before, I'm %100 percent certain I turned on the porch light before I went to sleep. The other person said he didn't turn it off either. Take it for what it's worth, because I can understand why it's so hard to believe all this since you're just going by my word.
The pounding noise wasn't my dog, because I have one of those glass showers and I can see into my room. The dog was laying inside her cage the whole time before I let her out. The whole time the pounding was going on. It lasted for about 5-7 seconds.
As far the sound of a door unlocking, that couldn't of been my dog either, because once again, I was with her before it happened. She was just laying down before she got up and took off to the front door.

Paranormal events usually (from what I know) gradually start and get worse... they gather energy as time goes on. Have you OR (others) experienced anything besides what you have already mentioned?

When I was a few years younger, I was sleeping and woke up in the middle of the night. I stared at my pillow and it slowly moved about an inch or two across the floor. But that could've been from me just being sleepy and my eyes playing tricks. Another one that happened when I was young was where the exact amount of money that was needed for something sort of "appeared out of no where" in a different room of the house.
So I'm not sure if you would label as it following me or not. We recently moved to this house, which is new, last year. About 4-7 months ago to be more precise. I don't think our house was built on any spiritual grounds as it was just a forest that they knocked down on some property that some guy owned.

Paranormal for the most part dont just start happening suddenly, but you never can tell I suppose.
I remember when I was around 9, me, my sis, and couple of our friends were beating up this UGLY HIDEOUS homemade doll that my great grandmother made in our bedroom.. we were kicking it around the room, throwing it everywhere, punching it, having fun beating up the doll game. Well, it landed on the floor.. and it landed face down. We were all staring at it and that thing picked its head up and looked at us.. no joke! We all took off like bat out of raging hell, foreal. I will never forget it. I had my daddy to burn that doll though... that thing was wicked.

Lol. Now that right there would crep the F*** outta me!
I remember one time my Grandpa had said he was walking down the street late at night one time when he passing a church. As he was passing it, he said he saw an old lady dressed in all black just staring at him. As he got closer to her and eventually walked passed her, he said he felt a cold spot and got the chills as soon as he was in front of her. A few seconds later after walking past her, he said he looked back and she had disappeared.
Damn, now I'm probably not going to stay up longer than I had to. Lol.

My first real spook experience was when I went to spend the summer with my granny in Columbus. Anyway, it was me and my sis again, her name is Nina. We were young young, I was around 9 and her 7 something like this.
We had been staying with granny maybe a week when my aunt had stopped by to pick my sister to go with her out of town.
So, that night Nina hasn't got back yet, but we are expecting her any minute. So I went to bed and got under the covers. Later on that night, I remember waking up to Nina getting in the bed with me. I moved over for her. She was pushing me into the wall. and Rolling over towards me squeezing me into the wall......after a while, I got mad about it and sat up and told her to "stop doing that, Nina!!" < at this point my heart went to my stomach, i remember this like this happend yesterday> She got out of bed, but it wasn't my sister. A girl, It favoured my sister, but it was NOT her. It said "I am not Nina!" I could see fairly well from the light from outside shining thru the window next to the bed.. I took off SO INHUMANE FAST LIKE-- ran thru this door, i do NOT remember opening it, I really don't. I ran into my granny's room like stroke level nervous wreck, and crying you know, cause this is very scary experience.
Well, My granny said that my aunt had called earlier and said she would bring my sister home the next morining.. and it couldn't have been Nina that I saw. Then this fear really settled in. eww. Well, she felt sorry for me and we talked about that incident till she died. But, I still think about .. and it always scares me when I do. unsettling.
