heh...Computers are really interesting in that way are they not? I can remember my mother screaming one day for me and/or my sister to get off the computer just as we walked in the front door. She told us she had heard someone typing away at the computer in my bedroom and was convinced that we had been in there on it when she had told us not to be. Of course, my sister and I believed her, but we picked on her about it for a while just for giggles. It wasn't nearly as funny when we heard the crying babies. I've heard a lot of ppl talk about computers and seeing things near them or hearing things there. Wonder if anyone's looked into it from an investigative pov.

Could have been a ghost, or demon, or maybe even your guardian angel.

There's a slim chance that it could have been *cough* sleep paralysis. wink2.gif

I remember waking one night and seeing a rabid gnarly looking wolf sitting in a chair at the foot of my bed.
I watched him long enough to make sure I was awake and accurate in what I was seeing. I have no idea what it was,
and never saw it again.

Talk about weird things at the computer.Last week I fell asleep at my computer. When I woke up on my computer screen, there was a little popup saying. Are you sure you want to shred the following folder and all its contents? C:\Documents and Settings\Favorites. (I have Window Washer).I woke up real fast and I was like, ohmy.gif ,omg,NOOOOO!!! HTH did that happen and THEN before I got a chance to grab my mouse it started deleting the folder all on its own as if someone had clicked yes.My heart skipped a beat while I watched WindowWasher permanently delete ALL my favorites.Luckily I had a backup of my favorites ,so I did not lose all of them. But like, WTF? How the #### did that happen? huh.gif I'm pretty knowledgable about computers and know I have no spyware or viruses or hijackers on my computer. Also,I only have 1 person on my network and his computer was off and he was at work.

My computer often turned on while I still lived in my old house.... It did that at least twice a week, and always in the middle of the night. The day we moved to our new house, it's NEVER done that again. Ever. And it's been at least 3 years now, whereas it did that for almost a whole year straight.

I know for a fact that house had bad things going on in there, my entire family got sick and stuff. But I still believe the computer issue was caused by something other than a hardware problem.

So yeah, if electronical stuff keeps acting up oddly like that...

Anything electrical or water related is a great way for any kind of paranormal activity. It can be running water, computers, tv's, radios, fans and things of that nature, so Mom was not crazy LOL no.gif

That dont sounds pleasant, but at first hand, it doesnt sounds alarming either wink2.gif
Have you ever had other experiences. It dont have to be the same kind of stuff, but just something you cant explain.
If you have - was it in the place your living now, ore somewhere else?
Did annyone else experienced something in your house?
How did the "somebody" look like - How long did you see it - what did it do - How did it go away (if you noticed)
Such information would be helpfull, if we shall attempt to find out, whats going on.
Of cource it is scearying, but dont bee frightened (easy too say - i know) no matter what it is, there is werry little chance it can ore will hurt you thumbsup.gif

Nah lol We come from a family of water well drillers. My sister and I aren't estranged from these phenomenal occurances... We get them pretty much as often as the next person and are completely at home with those little disturbances in our houses. I have some tales that could make an ordinary person's hair turn white. "Growing up with ghosts" so to speak kind of makes you used to them in a way. It was just a good way to get a little fun out of her. My sister and I went so far as to name a few of the regulars and to this day Lousiana is still one of the most beautiful places I've ever been even if it was the most "haunted", as some say, where I lived. As some think it is so odd or unnatural...or paranormal...I guess we always just took it for normal everyday stuff. I might introduce her to the forum, my sister that is. I'm sure she'd be anxious to tell the story of our "Landers", a popular family ghost. Mom still hurries to call a preacher for an annointing when one alarms her. There is even one in my own house now that loves attention and seems to have an affinity for turning on all the lights when it's time to go to bed or when we leave. At least there's always a light on at home when we return though, eh? Even if the electric bills get a bit expensive at times. My youngest daughter loves it because her favorite cartoons are always on in the morning when she wakes up.

I think that ghosts tend to merge or interact with electronics because both emit and use forms of energy.

I remember one time I was laying down napping at a friend of mine's house. When I woke from my nap I looked in front of me at the foot of his bed and saw someone sitting on the floor with their back against the end of the bed watching TV. At first I thought it was his grandmother who lived next door and was about to ask why she was sitting at the foot of the bed like that. When my eyes focused I realized it was not her but a figure of solid white. As I reared up it looked back at me and stared. I kinda freaked out and crossed myself and it suddenly jumped off the floor and into the TV. The TV went from the show that was playing to a colorful snow. After a few seconds the TV went back to normal.

This not the first time something like this happened in that house. There were many encounters with rappings and voices and the same apparation. My freinds dog used to go berserk and run from one end of the house to the other like she was chasing someone away. And then there was the big encounter where a friend of mine was choked out by invisible hands!

From what I was told they were playing around with a oujia board trying to communicate with the spirit when my freind Ricky decided to ask a few questions. The only reply he recieved was "I dont like you." He thought it was funny because he didnt believe in this stuff anyway. Well a few minutes later he got up to get a beer or something and then someone or something invisible threw him up against the wall and began to choke him. Everyone there got up to help him and when they ran over to him whatever had ahold of him let go. He had heavy finger shaped bruses around his neck when they came to me to tell me what happened.

Anyway I wont take up anymore space. You have some interesting experiences yourself. Dont know if it is just electronic malfunctions or entities, but none the less very interesting.

By the way Thozzman, Could you describe what the wolf thing looked like in detail? I think I have seen something like that.

LOL Poltergiest activity is very common and sometimes can be fun, but it can also come with a cost, so please be careful. When in touch and giving attention to earthbound human spirits, you can also entice the nasty, angry or demonic ones. I found that out the hard way, but on the upside at least you daughter enjoys it LOL

Ahh yes, there are some that she likes, and some that she doesn't. I can honestly say I've never had more happen than a scare. As a general rule, if they are merely tricksters or friendly we've payed attention to them, and occassionaly done things for their flattery I don't know if they can smell incense or candles, but I do know that they love for them to be lit for them. If they ever had the wrong feel to them we've always told them to go away or ignored their antics altogether. I won't say it's impossible that they can harm someone, but I've never had it happen to me or someone I know close. Spirits have always just been a thing that the family in general accepts. The closest I've come to danger from them was one being there when I was driving and scaring the living daylights out of me. Thank the gods as a reaction I slowed the car to a stop by instinct and no one else was following close behind me on the same road. About the worst dealings I've ever had with them were when the fundies convinced my mother that because I talked to them and paid attention to them I must be possessed. they put me through an exorcism ritual that was almost violent. Since then she's come to accept it a little more, though. I honestly don't believe I'd like very much to live in a place where there weren't any "spirits" or "ghosts" or whatever someone would call them. I have before...and the place was more scarey than the most "haunted" house I've ever been in on account of it feeling so empty and lifeless in the quiet hours.
Even my beloved is slowly coming to accept them, though he has had his share of scares because they are unfamiliar. lol.

LOL! I feel so so sorry for other people who can't pitch a fit or just pass out to try to avoid some of it. It was a nightmare, to say the least. I had an imprint of a cross in my forehead for 2 days following it. They told me that I could be a great vessel for God when it came to discerning spirits? when it was all over with as my mother carried me to the car. I don't believe I have ever stepped foot in that church again and I have rarely even visited a church. I have studied religious texts from all over but the idea that they would try that one again just unnerves me. I wasn't even aware that others, aside from Catholics, practiced the whole exorcism thing.

My grandmother used to say to lay a bible open on your headboard would also keep you safe as you slept.

WOW Do you live in the Untited States? Well, I am glad that is behind you now, anyway. Yes a Bible, and praying to StMichael is a really effective way to keep you safe from any evil or nasty ones.. yes.gif

Kitrah, I'm so sorry you went thru that, and I'm glad you come out of that traumatic experience well enough... That's is terrible... Bless your heart.
