I watched the video - interesting original.gif

I have a few questions...

Are the blocks carved out of the bedrock?
Can you tell me the region so I can look at the natural geology there?
Have any excavations taken place and by whom?

Thanks grin2.gif

here is rather good text taken from http://www.bosnian-pyramid.com i would advise ANYONE interested in Bosnian Pyramid phenomena to visite rather RICH image gallery that http://www.bosnian-pyramid.com offers... and their forum is rather full of useful information...

STORY

After a strenuous, but useful and enlightening experience I have received by climbing the Visocica and Pljesevica Hills and after having favorable weather conditions, I decided to dedicate some hours of my time to explore the mysterious place of Vratnica. I was accompanied by Alen, my personal guide, kindly putted on my disposal from the side of Mr. Goran Čakić, the responsible for the excavation works at the Pljesevica hill “Bosnian Pyramid of the Moon”.

The most noticeable difference of the hill in Gornja Vratnica is it’s earth hardness, much more friable then elsewhere, beside it’s bigness, in fact the height of the Vratnica hill is only about 120 meters. The first part of the hill which has been uncovered is the probe hole at the access plateau, located on the south-west side of the hill (please see the pictures in the gallery), while the first evidence of man-made stone blocks have been uncovered on the north-eastern area of the hill. The first layer of stone blocks, which are doubtless man-made, seems to be some type of chiseled white granite, their length is about 2- 3 meters, while the second visible stone block stratum beneath is similar in size, but of different stone composition of reddish brick color. At the top of the Hill, two small grave stones of natural shape and design have been located. There’s also one small probe hole of approx. diameter of 80 cm, showing the first evidence of what seems to be a tiled pavement of smooth surface.

There’s another small hill interconnected to the hill “Temple of Heaven”, of very similar and typical step terrace construction (please see the pictures available inside the gallery). We cannot exclude that this place might hide something much bigger than the first impressions let’s the explorer presume. At the moment, we don’t have enough details to define exactly what that construction exactly is, a place of cult, a small pyramid, a tomb or similar. The only sensation that raised inside me, like a Deja Vue, was the feeling to stand on a sacred place.

Before leaving the location I had the chance to meet and to speak with the people who carried out the first excavations, a young married couple in their 30s and their friends. The first thing they have noticed were those strange stone edges sticking out of the terrain. After the big craze, Mr. Osmanagics announcements caused, the few people of a small village near the hill decided to dig up a small part of what later has revealed itself as man-made shaped stone blocks of some unknown construction.

For the moment, the excavation works have been suspended by the communal council in order to define future disposition decisions and until future research plans have been carried out by the competent authorities.

It might be that the Hill in Vratnica held the key to compare and understand better the floor pavements at the Pljesevica hill “Bosnian Pyramid of the Moon”, beside to reveal the religious significance of both places, during different epochs, because of the sacred stones of similar shapes and design found at both locations.

However, my personal opinion is that Visoko and Bosnia may hide the most significant and accessible archaeological secrets of our Contemporary History, doubtless worthy for a in depth research.

Kind regards

Thank you for the further information...

Now I know the location, I can check the geology... I understand from a geology colleague that the region where the alleged pyramids are located does throw up unusually shaped hills, but I shall check with him before offering my opinion on that original.gif

I will also look into possible historic peoples in that area - it possible they were responsible for the stone blocks that are shown.

I'm not sure what period you were thinking of when you mention the sites, I have heard people stating 30'000 years old, which unfortunately is completely unsubstantiated and highly dubious ohmy.gif
kobolds
now what they need is dig out some skeleton

Looks like a natural hill to me wink2.gif

Although, given the furore over Visosica I can understand why local people mistook the natural geology for evidence of a manmade structure - in fact I'm surprised there haven't been more cases.

I think you can even see the same ripple effect on the surface as from the Visosica theme park, uh, archeological site... wink2.gif

Hiya wavey.gif

At least I'm consistent in my scepticism original.gif

And who knows, may be this year something will come to light which I can't explain and which proves me wrong?

LOL, geez I hope not, even the best friends don't always agree on everything... I haven't seen anything that makes me believe these places are anything more than natural formations. like Essan say's maybe they will find something to prove me wrong... thumbsup.gif

i am glad to see you guys sticking around and trying to follow this thing through. and lets hope they come up with something more than "ROCKS" for us to discuss original.gif
