I was browsing around yahoo looking for ghost pictures when I came across a site where pretty much what you do is get a picture of a background and you put in a picture of some one (the person or figure fades) and it appears as if there was really a ghostly presence there.

I know now after seeing this site that i should not believe everything or every story I hear about ghostly encounters, or for that matter fall for any fake pictures of "ghosts" that I may see. I am not saying that the pictures I have seen on this site are all fake and that this method was used. But I am saying that if you have done this in previous posts it would be best that you do not post fake pictures because it's not right to deceive people and make them believe something that is entirely fake. Hopefully no one has been doing this. :-/
The website is:
http://www.fakeghost.com/
I have attached a picture that I saw on the site.

[blue]I think we all are aware that there are unscrupulous folk out there doing just this sort of trickery and have been doing it for years: the Cottingley Fairies for example, springs to mind.
That is where a good dose of healthy skepticism comes into play. You have to use your head and consider all the aspects of the photo. 99% of ghost pics are probably either fake, or just things that look like ghosts but are not.
It is when you start to eliminate all the possibilities for fraud/mistakes that you get to the real kernel of a possible ghost pic.

Nice to meet you Gengis Khan, what's up? ;D
It's a thing that usually happens when you take two pictures using the same film...the previous fade into the second.

A lot of ghost pictures are just what happens when you don't really use a camera correctly. Even in the "shoot-and-toss-out" age of cameras you still need to have some amount of knowledge. When people with digital cameras and throw out cameras take pictures and get malformations, they assume that it can't be the technology or their skill, but, in fact, a GHOST!
Ghosts are really just people's own forthcomings drenched in guilt.

This thread has been awakened, for no good reason, just your friendly neighborhood bit of forum archaeology.
