I'm just wondering about what age is normal to start drinking at where you people live?

I got drunk for the first time when I was 14.
My best friend and me was at her house, and her father gave us some wine he had made.. It was very strong, and we drank A LOT!!

How often is it normal to drink? Like, once a week? Once a month?

And does anyone have any fun stories to tell about what stupid things they have done when they where drunk?

I've had my share of stupidity!!

In all of Canada except Quebec, the legal drinking age is 19. In Quebec it is 18. I don't drink.

I forgot to say that the legal age of bying beer, wine and not strong alcohol is 18.
to buy stronger alcohol you have to be 20..

The legal age here is 21,the normal age is about 12 or 13.

I guess that the normal age and the legal age is 2 completely different things..
At least it is in Norway!

How old where you when you where drunk for the first time?

I was 12!Over in the uk where i live the legal age is 18,and u r allowed in the pub at 16 but only r allowed 2 drink lemonade and orange juice!

Once when i was 7, my dad came home drunk and started walkin' in2 the walls and in the end he fell on the floor fast asleep!

And once, i came home drunk and then i went 2 bed and when i fell asleep i stood up, walked 2 my front door un-bolted and opened it ,then i started no.1in' all over the wall and i woke up on the door step locked out!

I think it's the same here, teenagers start getting drunk and rolling on the ground around 13 -15...

I even don't know if there is a legal age to buy alcohol here, maybe 18 but the shopkeepers don't seem mind it...

I don't drink. Apart from drinking water , that is about it.

Most people start drinking at 13 here . I dont drink becuase I believe the CIA is using drugs as alternative tax ... NYAYAYAYAAAAA !!!! they want to control us all !!!!! *twitches uncontrollably*

I was 14 the first time I got drunk..

Went to a party..lied to my parents..got drunk on pitchers of beer, vodka, and rum all in the same night. When I got home, I walked in the door, my mother was waiting for me. She asked if I had been drinking, I said no, then I threw up on her feet.lol.

Needless to say I was grounded for a month.

Don't drink much anymore, just once in a while.

Ah the fond memories of camping........The first time i got absolutely bladdered was last year when me and a lot of friends(most of which consideraby older than me) went camping up on a huge hill.We walked there will all our gear(tedious work i assure you) and by the time we were ten minutes down the road,me and my brothers friend stopped for a rest.It was then that he produced a bottle of Sprite,and a bottle of vodka,tipped some Sprite out,and filled the rest up with vodka.We caught up with the others and carried on drinking,the otherrs unaware that we were lagging(and staggering)behind.We were roughly an hour late,and after dark a few of us decided to go find more wood for the fire,which some of them did.I decided after a short debate with myself to go along and help them,so i shouted ahead for someone to come back and guide me(im not fond of dark woods) but they just shouted at me to hurry up and take wood back.So at this i started runnig full speed towards the flashlights,then i noticed a large mound so i took a huge run up(still going full speed)and jumped over it,only to find there was a large tree in front of it.I busted my knee and burst my nose,my mate came and carried me back to camp though,and the night turned out to be very rewarding(after the pain subsided,or rather was drowned by more alcohol). So thats my story,long,pointless and exhausting to type.........

Never been drunk. I do drink though just not often. Mostly with my parents
Neither of my parents drink much and my mum gets tipsy on a Harvey Wallbanger. The one time I went to a party with alcohol, I told my mum and she was like "have you had something to eat, it's not good to drink on an empty stomach. Don't drink straight beer, dilute it, have shandies or something, you're not that big so the acohol will affect you faster" and then, finshed it with "Not that I'm encouraging you to drink or anything". Lol.

My friend kept asking if I wanted a drink (though I insisted I wasn't thirsty) and after about an hour I caved and went for the shandies. mmmmmmm shandies. Two of them didn't even equal half a beer.

I still don't see what is so appealing about getting wasted. Two of the girls went solely to get drunk. :S.

The legal drinking age is 18 here and there are laws that fine sellers who sell to underage people. Not really sure what the norm age is though....probably around 15ish

For a litre of Southern Comfort over here it cost about £32,not that i buy it as im way too young.........

during the weekend there are a lot of partys with drinks! and stuff youd be surprised! and people get drunk and its like girls will have sex with just about anyone!

Here in good ol', pure America w/ all of our wonderful people .... The legal age to drink and buy alcohol is 21..... The NORMAL age to start drinking ... hahahahaha .... Oh God, anywhere between 10 & 12 is when kids start drinking now. Me? I first got drunk when i was 15 I'd say. I'm not much for drinking at all anymore. Certianly not up for getting drunk ..... Bad experiences, not worth it.

I was drunk when I was 17 for the first time hmmm lost my virginity that year too...Yes yes I was late..... But most I hear try alcohol when they are 12-13-14 (sh*t my kid is 12)
And females lose their virginity at a youger age that males...(from 12 and up)
(not studied facts - just my own facts, that I have heard)

I think this is terrible...becouse they are only kids.

Over here in Sweden the ages for legal liquor is the same as Norway and high taxes on that.

I do not think anyone should get drunk every weekend...learn how to have fun without drugs.

I maybe drink a few beers on the weekend..(if I feel like it)
But not every weekend.
