Hi Everyone!
I was just wondering what are some theories are on Vortexs. Like what are they? how are they made?
Thanks so much
Kryso
Any additional information? Vortex’s as in what? The centre of a cyclone? A type of wormhole? What are your theories, then it may help us to establish what you mean!

Vortex

\Vor"tex\, n.; pl. E. Vortexes, L. Vortices. [L. vortex, vertex, -icis, fr. vortere, vertere, to turn. See Vertex.] 1. A mass of fluid, especially of a liquid, having a whirling or circular motion tending to form a cavity or vacuum in the center of the circle, and to draw in towards the center bodies subject to its action; the form assumed by a fluid in such motion; a whirlpool; an eddy.

2. (Cartesian System) A supposed collection of particles of very subtile matter, endowed with a rapid rotary motion around an axis which was also the axis of a sun or a planet. Descartes attempted to account for the formation of the universe, and the movements of the bodies composing it, by a theory of vortices.

3. (Zo["o]l.) Any one of numerous species of small Turbellaria belonging to Vortex and allied genera. See Illustration in Appendix.

Vortex atom (Chem.), a hypothetical ring-shaped mass of elementary matter in continuous vortical motion. It is conveniently regarded in certain mathematical speculations as the typical form and structure of the chemical atom.

I have my own theories on this matter from personal experience. I do not spend alot of time on this subject and due to several experiences have found myself in the middle of this rather strange phenomenon and have found myself making conclusions.
My wife's grandmother passed away, and at the time of the will and property dispursement my wife took 2 rather startling pictures (in succession) in the downstairs of her mother's house. Her mother was taking it rather hard and needed alot of comforting. I saw the pictures and thought nothing of them. Camera glitch or something. Then I came across the Ghost Hunter's website which to my surprise is located locally to my house. The main picture on their website is from an arts & crafts store not 5 minutes from my house! and lo and behold a Vortex! huge! I instantly made the connection to my pictures.
I went to the arts & crafts store and I knew the lady behind the counter, she goes to my church and she had worked there for 7 years. Of course I had to ask, "Have you ever experienced anything strange?" She sure had! The place is known to be haunted and she says she gets tourists from all over the world to visit this haunted locale. I could go on for awhile on our conversation... but I will come to my conclusions.
I believe Vortexes are very different from orbs or haze which I've found are the 3 main varieties of ghostly manifestations on film. (All of which I have examples of in my personal photos.)
I believe our spirits are matter much more refined than our bodies and spirit recognizes spirit and/or intent of spirit. I have lived for 2 years in a 3rd world country and have talked to many who have experienced strange phenomenon. Vortexes, I believe, are spirits of visitors with a cause to visit, (on film - they are brilliant and cast a shadow too dark to believe) But I believe they do not actually look like that - It's just how it is captured on our film. Orbs I believe are spirits of traumatized wandering spirits, and haze I believe are evil or malitious spirits.
I could be wrong and most likely am, but I am still trying to figure it out. It is something! A professional photographer examind my negatives and has no clue. Its not the camera.........

The late Ivan T. Sanderson suggested that there were 12 vortices - square shaped areas - that loop around the planet at regular distances, 5 above the equator, 5 below and then one at each pole. The inaccurately named Bermuda Triangle was one of these vortices, he said. Indeed, what happened in them was much the same as what was contended to have happened in the Bermuda Triangle - 'mysterious' dissapearances of aircraft and shipping and that sort of thing.

Sanderson said that these dissapearances happened because, basically, ancient aquatic civilizations were taking them. The vortices are areas where strange natural phenonenon occur, and for some reason this suited the kidnappers purposes.

The whole theory was utter hokum, of course, evinced not least by the comprehensive demolition of the whole Bermuda Triangle myth.

The book in which Sanderson expounds his odd theory is More "Things" (published in 1969)

Basicaly vortex's are portals were ghosts come out of and go through- there are seven to be exact- or we might be wrong and there could be more out there. So next time you catch something strange on camera you just might have captured a vortex.
