I have not made this thread, to ridicule annyone - it is just a little experiment i did, because there has been some debate on "orbs" in the threads "pics from the hotel" and "Is my home hauntet"

I have taken these pics in my home - and it is NOT hauntet!!!!

I have shaken a dirty mat, and then took the first 3 pictures after 2 min. with a 3 sec. interval.

The next 3 is taken about 2 min. later, with a 3 sec. interval.

The next 3 is taken 5 min. later with a 3 sec. interval.

And the last 4 is taken 5 min. later again, with a 3 sec. interval.

All doors was closed during the the whole prosess, to exclude draft.

Almost all of them seems "solid" with a "core" in them - there are manny that is not completely circular (a few seems half) - there are different shades of blue, yellow and red - there seems to be faces (and all other kind of stuff) in manny of them - and there are still "orbs" 14 min. after someone has been in the room. All of this is what beleivers in "orbs" think is proof of a paranormal "orb" - Well all of these are "homemade" and still they have all the characteristica of a true "ghostorb"

By the way, i also see a "face" with a glowing eye in the upper closet on the left side.

Hi Kroll, I agree and orb is an orb is an orb, dust, reflections or whatever. However some are unformed spirits or that is what I believe. I can see them with the naked eye, so when I shoot I KNOW what I see. I can look at a picture with one tiny one, and get a "sense" of something and others, feel nothing. I do know they can be homemande or unexpected, so guess its all in the eye of the beholder or feelings the owner has when they look at it. Sorry, I did not see a face but will look again. I respect your oppenion and beleife, and as sayd before, i dont rule out, that werry, werry few, might be paranormal, but i just dont see how to say one is and one is not, when the dust in my home, looks exactly tha way a "ghostorb" i soposed to look - it makes it kind of hard to destinguise - dont it?
I could also see these "orbs" with my naked eye, and there was hardly anny light, so i dont think that proves annything.
I also "sense" and i "see" things from time to time, manny of these feelings and visions, have been proven correct, but i also know, that i can raise myself to a level of oversencitivity, where i "sence" a lot all the time, and "see" all kind of stuff, and i know, that in that state of mind, i am almost allways wrong. I would say, that all the Psycics, mediums and sensetive people i have known (and that is manny through the years) have the same problem, and not all is able to destinguise, so as proof, "feelings" alone, wont do it.

The thing you can see is a wrinkled brown paperbag, that is reflecting the light so it looks as a bright eye, weird - i know, but it is a fact!

Thanks, The way I look at it is, I dont have to convince anyone of what I see or feel and either do you. I can lay in bed in total darkness and many times see bright shining orbs, flash off and on in the dark. One landed on my shoulder one night, and I just looked at it and smiled. I didnt shoot a pic of it, because I "sensed" it was friendly and wanted to be close to me. One night I viewed that red worm thing, and even stood up to look at it, I wanted to touch it but felt I shouldnt, and it moved, so took a picture and sure enough, I got that massive picture of reddish ectoplasm. It depends alot on our state of mind, our level of consciousness and other factors. I can tell when I walk into a room, and get the chills something "not nice" is around me. With that, I take action to take control of me, and try to keep it at a distance, but that is not easy sometimes at 3:00 in the morning when I am alone LOL..Some of those orbs could simply be dust yes, and who knows if one or two of them are something of the paranormal, and yes they do look alike, but something tells me they are different, as we said "a feeling." But we cannot convince anyone because of "our feelings." But at least WE know, and that is all that matters..JN

You are right, but i still think there is a big difference, between knowing something, and saying that almost all "orbs" in your pics are paranormal, wich is what i think you state in your "hotel" post.
Still my dust have ALL the characaristica of "ghostorbs" also all of those you have mentioned, as being some kind of "proof" for them being paranormal - how do you explain that?
As sayd - i think your hotel IS hauntet, and you have some werry intersting pictures to back it up, and i think it is a shame you post pics of something that might just as well be dust, side by side with the other ones.

As you can read in a former post in this thread, i also feel and even see "things" but that dont meen i beleive thet all i feel and see is paranormal, i also know how my mind and the world i live in functions, and i think that is werry important, we understand and include that in our investigations and conclutions, if we have to convinse non-beleivers, and avoid to make wrong claims and make paranormal an accepted word (annyway, i like "supernatural better - super nature - has a nice ring to it - dont it.

1. Dont clean your door-mat the next few days.
2. Shake the mat (remember to close your eyes - i didnt - yeiks)
3. Take pics with a digitalcamera - and you are in the "orb"buisness.

This worm thing you experienced, I have witnessed some things similar. My last experience- One was a green ball, big as a soccar ball, bright flueroscent green.. mountain dew kind of green, it would hang in center of corner of my living room wall and go out and in -- get smaller (almost disappear) and then appear to get larger... do this for hours... The orbs, I see this too, I've gotten used to them-- Some are dust, some are my eyes being tired, But sometimes there is an energy that is with them, very unsettling, and it's not so explained away so easily.

WOW Were we separated at birth? LOL..Orbs are beautiful, but again it depends on the feeling we get. OMG One night (think I told this before) I was in bed wide awake on my side, which faced my bedroom door. I was just kinda laying there and all the sudden this green thing with absolutely gorgeous colors manifested itself on the door into what I thought a large "circle." It got bigger and bigger but NOT the size of a soccur ball but a softball? I stared at it for minutes, and was sort of in shock, rubbing my eyes to see if I was seeing correctly, and next thing POOF it was gone. It didnt give me any feelings of fear but of how absolutely pretty it was, and could not ever explain the different colors inside. That was about 2 months ago, and have not seen one THAT big since, or that close..

OMYGOODNESS!! When I saw this circle appear I just sat there at my kitchen table looking at it... THen I walked up RIGHT UP TO IT, to bet a closer shot.. ( I thought it was a kid's toy reflecting at first)... But as I got up on it, it was solid GREEN-- you couldn't see thru it, it was solid. IT kept sort of pulsating there in the middle of the corner wall.. between the ceiling and floor.... I just stared at it for a short while-- looking all around me to see where it could have been coming from, turned around went back to the table, sat there for a long time watching it, before I got tired/bored went on to bed..

I also DID NOT feel threatened by this at all!

WOW Isnt it funny that even when we see something, we tend to rationalize it and deny what we are actually seeing? Sometimes it doesnt even hit me till after the fact, and I think OMG...You walked up to it? The one I saw was sold, but thousands of colors inside it, and dont recall it pulsating. You got bored? LOL..That is a great story. I didnt feel threatened by the one I saw either, or that red wormy thing either. My sons best friend had died that night but didnt know it then, so I was thinking once I got pics back, maybe it was him? Did you ever see black orbs? I have and I dont like them..Dont see them often, which is fine with me..

Yes, I 've seen the black orbs, I've seen these so called shadow things as well. What I see is blackness that is also solid in color, it isn't see thru appearance as some would speculate. But solid. I do NOT get sense these are neutral in any way, neither. I have seen a pattern for when I may experience these also, but that's another story..
Strange, you mention that appearing after your son's friend's death (sorry to hear of his death, btw), this green object appeared on the night our first cleansing & a month after the death of both my parents. I'm not saying the green ball is relative to my other paranmormal issues at the time, I don't beleive it was... but totally different experience, or entity-- at leat it brought a different presence with it.

Wow,those pics have a lot of those eyeball orbs that look like the eyeball orb in my one pic I posted.Guess this explains that one.

Look in my thread "Faces in the woodwork", there is a pic of an eyeball thing. I'm calling it an eyeball orb,lol.

Only twice have I seen the solid blackness, and I it didnt make me feel comforted at all, more uneasy. I would say possibly the green orb was making a huge appearance due to your parents passing, possibly a grandmother, frandfather type thing. I am not sure just speculating. We never really know and can only go by how it makes us feel...Thanks, My son the next day, came to pick me up at the doctors. He said that on his way down the stairs, this reddish/orange ball kinda thing was bouncing all around him, and landing on him. He described it as "dancing" all around him. I have used that term on here but never to him. First he thought it was the head of a cigarette but he was not smoking, then he thought of a firefly till it landed on him. He felt immediately it was his recently deceased friend, and he is still struggling with his death, but told him to pray for his soul, and eventually it does get easier..

These reflections you are talking about that boucnes, It's very similar to a reflection from a mirror and the sun.. As if someone is playing around with a mirror reflecting off the sun and flashing the reflection back onto you, the reflection bounces all over you, it's actually a "lighthearted sort of feel." Nothing bad at all. The black orbs, or shadows... the best word for it for me is I always feel doom/nervousness in it's presense. I get nervous chills, and constantly began to look over my shoulder this is first instincts.

The reflection is a light... never a part. color I remember. just a light-- a reflective light..

So, you feel these are our family members? This WOULD explain why the natural feel is so lighthearted, almost pleasant..

Thank you Kroll for your very informative pictures . Though I don’t think it that’s last nail because I do speculate on if it is convincing enough for some people. I , for myself, is totally aware that Orbs are only specks in the air and I told my fellow spur-of-the-moment
ghost hunters. I usually chuck out my orbs pictures(defects) when I ghost hunt ,or don’t even look at them. I do like capturing insects in flight, but after scrutinizing on what the hell it is, I also chuck them out too. The only closest convincing thing about orbs is that people catch colds and flues from them. And I also find it sad, frustrating, disappointing, that the majority of ghost believers rely on orbs for proof existence of the afterlife…

This is off topic but how can one stir up ghosts? Ouija boards just don’t work, séances don’t work, my presence with others don’t work…or people are picked at birth unquestionably to see such paranormal?

That is a tricky question. I dont think you can provoke them to come forward, they are like people, they do what they want, when they want. But maybe it will work just talking to them, inviting them to come, its worth a try.
